Plus at the moment Glad has a lot on his plate and is barely able to write with me

I wander into Looking Glass, pleased to see that the writing desk, chair and laptop I had ordered had arrived and been set up perfectly.

They faced a huge bay window which looked out upon a lush tropical paradise. I was hoping it would be a source of inspiration when I was unable to put pen to paper or in this case fingertips to keys.

The whole room was an octagon and against the adjacent wall was a hug comfy couch with a coffee table and two comfy matching chairs.

If my co- writers came to chat or brainstorm they would have a places to sit. Who knows maybe an old friend might stop by to say hello or someone in need of a new friends perhaps.

In reality the couch would probably find me napping on it most of the time.

My “ office “‘ was a work in progress. It needed a book case and perhaps a small kitchenette and a tiny bar.

It most certainly needed plants, and a comfy bed And a water bowl for my Sheltie....

I sat down to look around making mental notes of what else was needed and before I knew it I was curled up fast asleep on one end of the long couch...

Morpheus hadn’t waited long to claim me his.

I had awoken and sheepishly wandered over to my desk and sat. Not quite the writing day I has aspired to. Determined I wrote my post for CG it came easily.

What didn’t come at all was how to format it. Glad had helped me to do the first two and now my mind had blanked again. It just wouldn’t link.

I do tend to doubt myself for sure. I do hope we can pen a story together when you have time

That said what I need help with it embedding the link into the title of my new story. I cannot get it to work.

Due to huge amounts of chemo back when I have huge chunks of memory loss, some I fear is permanent and some comes and goes.

Glad did explain it but it’s gone again I’m afraid lol. He’s on a sabbatical atm.

I slipped back into my office poured myself a second coffee and sat down at my desk. I had one full post and half a post to write.

I found a note from Ravenloft . I sighed wishing he had passed by in person to have a coffee with me .

Maybe no one linked stories or posted pictures anymore, maybe no one knew. I longed to restart Bliss Gallery but couldn’t figure out how to get my photos in it.

I giggled I was hopeless truly...

To put in so it is linked to a title, you write it like this [U*RL="The link for the thread"]"The name for the story"[/U*RL]

Take out the stars I put in the URL section, that was just to make it not put it in as a link to show you the format.

So it ends up looking like this The Degredation of Jenny Lang

We were all fooled, I saw the link in your signature line too, and just made the assumption that you had figured it out too, until I clicked on it.

I was just about to help but Kaena beat me to it. Lol!

But yeah, I am guessing here, but I think the most likely of things that might have happened to make your ling broken was that when you went to paste the address, it is highly likely that you need up with two https. It's happened to me a lot before. I don't know why the url code brackets automatically start with one, when copy paste snags that too, it's just a sure fire way to make a simple mistake...

For the record, I like my coffee black, but not too hot.

Oh, photos are maybe just a bit easier... Just remember to only have one instance of http at the begining of your web address. I think that may have been what broke your other link, but that's just a guess.

If you need any more help, let us know, I'm sure we will fight over who gets to help you this time...lol!

I haven’t got the photos sorted at all. I wanted the whole photo to appear and not a link

I was going to beg you to teach me how to post pictures in Bliss again. I’ve tried everything.

Well changes in Tumblr since you've been gone has affected how I hotlink things, and some trouble I had doing it for other sites affecting how I do this too. Most of the blogs there I took pics from have dried up since. I mostly swipe pics from other picture threads kinda like how you took the above pic for your character pic.

The two Pic threads I draw from the most are Llidar's picture thread over in the playground forum. Beauty~It's in the eye of the Beholder 7. I love the pics she chooses for that thread because they're always classy and have a such a sexy sensuality to them. I can't express how much she seems to get the kind of feel to the pics I like and look for. We have the same aesthetic tastes I guess. Also good is one from the GLBT thread by a poster called SultrySandy: Females, couples, GIFS, and Videos #xxxix Hers is more of a grab bag but often find really good ones there.

And the process is quoting the post with the pic copying the address and posting it onto your thread and deleting the quote coding and voila. That's what I do now...I'm a shameless thief, and I do mean shameless when it comes to these pics.

Thank you I’m having a lot of fun with it . Lots of editing going from 1st to 3rd. It’s really challenging. But it allows me to really show a different persona. Also I’m trying to allow the reader to make her, His, even down to her hair colour...now that isn’t easy believe me.
