RejectReality admitted to using a sock account on this thread. The stories of "theirs" that they had us chase up are listed under the name "Darkniciad." Different account, same person, at least according to their posts on this thread. Unlike Pink Silk, who accused me of being a sock account based on no evidence at all, I did wait to describe RejectReality as having a sock account until they confirmed explicitly that they were writing under a sock account.

Obviously I'm pretty pissed at them for having wasted everyone's time by asking us to watch some stories, presenting us with the ratings data of those stories, and then storming off in a huff when it turned out that the numbers they provided were completely in line with the predictions I'd made. But I'm not saying they are using a sock account as a baseless accusation, I'm describing it as a sock account because they have admitted that they were using a sock account.

As for ElectricBlue, they have made SIX posts angrily claiming that I can't possibly know the answer to... a multiplication problem. It's literally just a multiplication problem. Most phones can solve it in seconds. If you have a piece of paper and a pencil, you can solve it whenever you want without any electronic gizmos. If they keep spamming this thread with this nonsense, I am absolutely going to ramp up insults. Because what the fuck even is that?

You may be capable of simple multiplication calculations, but you have failed to display a grasp of standard deviation curves. It's hardly a secret that RejectReality uses multiple accounts in order to publish works under multiple pen names, because that's (as usual) something that Literotica should support natively but doesn't. He even crosslinks those accounts in forum signatures. They are not sock puppets; a few other people here has done the same. And since we're all anonymous here, it's not even obvious which one of those accounts is "real".

So, I'm confused why pointing this out would even constitute any sort of "accusation", considering that no wrongdoing whatsoever has taken place here.

Certainly it is entirely possible that one could have watched the history of toplists and voting for several years without an account but not very likely at all. I'm just pointing that out as it is certainly most curious. If that makes me a cunt and yet another target of RG's vitriol, I think I'll live.

He also basically accused me of doing something sketchy because there's no way my stories on the mature top list can be real pretty much insinuating, I'm behind some of the manipulation.

This isn’t a good faith debate it’s a guy jerking off to arguments. There are such people, it’s called a high conflict personality and we have a few here.

In all honesty, when I was under the mistaken impression that the toplists still only updated once every 24 hours, my first thought was RG bombed them prior to the toplist recognizing the 100th vote to avoid data coming out that would make them look like a fool. Then I thought about it, and I've got another couple that are close enough that those would have also been subject to a preemptive strike if that were the case.

I will admit an error from far earlier in the thread based upon at least 3 toplist updates per day now. You don't even have time to pick up additional readership anymore before the trolls bomb you into oblivion. If you weren't on the upper quarter of page one of the topist in times past when you got that 24 hours in the sun, then it's all about losing the score, because you have no frame of reference for losing exposure.

The absolute base premise of the thread is correct. The toplists are broken, and will remain broken until such time there are regular, large dataset sweeps similar to the old monthly contest sweeps. That was the bulwark that kept the trolling in check for many years, because it created so many targets that needed to be nuked that the next sweep would roll around almost as fast as they could finish. That's the fly in the ointment. Everything else that's broken about them has always been broken. It's an internet poll, and inherently subject to manipulation.

Multiple daily updates of the toplist doesn't help, because now the trolls have better data, and will do less over-bombing that can provide useful sweep data. LOL The sort-of trade is that you probably won't get bombed quite as hard anymore. Instead of getting nuked into the high 4.5s to low 4.6s, you'll only get bombed to high 4.7s to low 4.8s ( depending on the toplist ) because that's the threat zone.
