I saw a video clip on the SexandSubmission site which had a gag with the nose prongs like your pic.

It is the only time I have seen those, humiliating enough when you drool out your mouth when wearing a gag, but having your nostrils flared and snot running out would be really hard to cope with!

I've never understood the fascination that kinky folks had with them until it occurred to me that maybe they are meant to be used as a type of gag. It seems a safe way to muffle a lucky sub's screams while not presenting any sort of risk of obstructing breathing or swallowing. Do gas masks make good gags? It might be a homemade thingie. The side looks like a bit i found in one of my leather supply catalogs. Then, the curved wire thingie that is actually in the mouth may be some dental equipment, or, fashioned after the thingie in your pic

Just look at the word gas mask . Thats the fascination right their.

Like any mask it allows you to become something else, when you have it on you don't have to face the consequences that you do when everyone can see your face. It puts you in your only little fantasy realm.

Not only is a gas mask a mask but it also serves a real purpose. It allows you to feel invulnerable, powerful. Kind of like holding a gun.

Thats the appeal at least, I find the real thing far less sexy. When you wear a full faced mask properly it makes it difficult to breath, your vision is impaired tremendously, and its just overall clumsy. Not to mention that thought in the back of your head that something could bump into the mask and break the seal.

The 'knot on the rope' is a cool idea! Easy to setup if you have spare rope to hand too
