Woohoo!
Mine, erm... Exploded.

lol... It's my first time to own one, actually. (A bachelor has better things to spend money on, like a gas range, a laptop... a lap dance. Or two. Or ten. j/k

) Looking forward to... exploding it as well.

As long as it's not a lap range! (I'm tired. Forgive stupidity.)

Oof!

Windstar, huh? I lucked out and bought a 89 Probe. The old witch that used to own it had it stored away in her garage... had about 35,000 miles on it. But she put in a new engine so it goes vroom a lot.

I went to best buy to use a gift card I got for christmas but the dvd I wanted only came in a dvd/blu-ray combo pack. I wound up not buying it. I don't own a blu-ray player so I didn't see the point of buying 2 discs and only use one.

I suggested to the oh so eager to help clerk that if they really want me to purchase the dvd/blu-ray combo pack they should give me a free complimentary blu-ray player with it...he didn't quite see the logic to my argument.

I'd've done the same thing.

I don't really see too many blu-ray players being USED. None of my friends have them, my computer can't play them, I rarely see them at my usual electronics stops...

Yeah and I don't care how much better the visual is for Blu-ray, DVD is pretty good enough already.

So their principal selling point is something I really don't care about, not unless they knock down the price of the blu-ray players by somewhere around a hundred bucks.

Also I should say I was dissapointed in the special features of the dvd-I'm a special feature whore when it comes buying dvds...if it has none or only a paltrey offering of special features-I don't buy. I netflix or red box it.

A 70" LCD - LED TV.... IT'S SO BIG!!!.... I went from having no TV for 6 years to a giant TV... now how do I get it to work....

Come on over. But you'll have to setup the TV for me.... I've got no cable, no direct TV, no dvd player, no netflix, no amazon prime..... so far, nothing that will actually play on this appliance.

We do have the surround sound stuff, but it's not setup yet either. We were waiting for the TV...

Nothing to watch but your reflections then. 'Oh, look, a sexy romance channel.' (hopefully) :rose:

Hey, do you have a laptop? You could hook up your TV as a monitor and watch Youtube, Hulu, or just some good old fashioned porn. Also, most laptops can play DVDs or BluRay on their disc drive, depending on the model.
