I think Trump did promise to settle this war, somehow, before he even takes office, but I haven't heard anything about him trying since the election.
 
My worry is that Trump would never do anything to make Putin unhappy.

And he might have an irrational grudge against Zelenskyy, after getting impeached over a phone call with him.

Hopefully he bounces out, cuts them off and leaves NATO.

USA can't police itself it has no business policing others.
 
Hard to imagine since trump is so transactional (i.e., what’s the US getting for supporting Ukraine) and has bigly financial ties to Russia, not to mention his Putin worship. That’s why the Biden admin is pushing more bucks to Ukraine ahead of the inauguration.
 
trump is and always has been a loose cannon. There is no predicting that clown.
 
When Trump sends the military into Ukraine, Putin will have no need of those suckers from North Korea. He'll have enough American soldiers to use as cannon fodder.

Or has President Musk promised to pay off all of Trump's Russian bank loans as well as paying for him to get elected?

We wouldn't save a dime, if we maintain our current military presence in NATO countries but pull out of the organization. If we reduce that presence, we become a lesser military power.

You seem to have the idea our allies are cheating us somehow, and they're not.

Then we would be a lesser military power.

I don't see why we really need a global network of 800 military bases, but the Pentagon seems to think we do, to be a military power, and they are supposedly the experts.
