I am old and tired. Chinese food and movie night then probably going to bed before midnight.

Sounds like a lovely evening. My days of over the top New Year's parties are likely behind me. Plus I'm nursing a nasty little sinus infection. So, we will let the kid stay up late, play some games, and makes sure people get to bed at a reasonable hour. As a stubborn jerk, I will stay up to watch the ball drop.

Taking the family (me, wife and four kids) to sister-in-law’s place which is close by.

Party will be dominated by couples and kids and will most decidedly not be crazy unless the kids have too much sugar. 🤣

I will, as at most parties we attend, be asked about “the real estate market” as well as local, provincial and federal politics.

Hopefully in bed before midnight but we’ll see…
