Maybe some of the lurkers have gone but many of us (who are brave enough to comment and risk the sharp edge of your tongue - yeah, I'm good with you using your tongue on me) are still here, mainly waiting for an update on the state of your "x" key ... and maybe not!

I know I promised mail responses to lots of ppl who reached out. But I just...I just dont have the energy right now. Long week and the lit drama bs and ppl leaving my thread or only here/comment if I cater to their dicks or whatever.
Its tiring.

Seriously though - if you feel the need to take a break from Lit, do it! We're not going to march on the Capitol demanding you get bake behind your keyboard and camera ... The shit that went down this week would be enough to finish a lot of people off but I believe you are stronger and smarter than that and you know in your own mind that sometimes you need to get away and chill for a while

St.Patrick's Day over here in the UK is nowhere near as big a thing as it is in the US (possibly because we've had our "problems" with them over the years) and personally, I'm not so sure I like Guinness so I'm more iin favour of naked women

Recent tv watching reviews:

Penguin - only a few episdoes in. Seems quite good! Im enjoying.
Zero Day - it was just ok. Predictable but not horrific. Good cast, really good. Its worth watching if you are trying to find a new show, but its not like OMG, what happens NEXT??!?
Good Girls Guide to Murder - this was just ok. Supposedly season 2 coming out. Ill likely skip. I liked the pre,mise though, and based off a book.
Prime Target - this was not as good as I had hoped. AppleTV usually has good shows. This wasnt bad. It just wasnt good.
Running Point - I am not a fan of Mindy Kaling's writing. Im all for bipoc and more women in Hollywood who arent just "the wife" or "hot neighbor" or whatever. Her writing is shit, but somehow popular though. Shoehorned lame sex jokes, written for the minds of 13 yr old boys/girls, always having a female Indian in power, and all the male Indians are supposedly making the women's panties soak and drop...etc.
Shows she has written: this one, Never Have I ever, Sex Lives of College Girls (dont get horny, theres no nudity in it),
Anyway, watched this since it was about/inspired by the Lakers and Jeanie Buss. I thought it started ok and went downhill by ep2.
Severance - love this show...and I dont normally like slightly wacky types of shows in terms of stretching reality but based in reality if you get my drift.
The PITT - this is also two big thumbs up, really well done!!! A more real "ER"...
Mythic Quest - I really like it. MAny seem to not get it or not enjoy it, but I definitely do.

White Lotus season 3
Apple Cider Vinegar
Cobra Kai - final half of the final season. Super cheesy but worth the laughs and concluding.

Cobra Kai was good for nostalgia. My kids loved it. Kinda changed my mind about Johnny being the bad guy he just had a bad wrap. Barney started to change my mind in HIMYM this solidified it. Lol

I have really enjoyed The Pitt so far I loved ER and I thins this is different and better as you said more real there is a grit to it

I think White Lotus has been good so far slow build but good
