2 is the lie…

im shooting for 2

I’ll pick 1. just because guys is plural and I’m not sure how that would have worked

1. While I believe in your fun. You’re too stealthy to get into that. Much easier ways to get free shots. 🤪

I am going with two, because you were outstanding at it.

you didnt play the saxaphone, you played the recorder 🤭

# 2 is the lie...elementary school kids are good at everything
Wow, I think I fooled you all!!

I never ran cross-country. I was always told I had a runner's build, but I've never been a dedicated runner.

As for the cowboy bar - I found out my ass has better tolerance than I do for shots! Luckily my friends helped me out before I got in any real trouble. Some of the guys wanted to take the party to the parking lot. 😱

And yes, I played sax! Alto, from 3rd to 5th grade. I was awful and didn't enjoy it.

Who was your favorite princess, Princess?
So, I loved Ariel, but I thought she was stupid to want to be a human instead of a mermaid 🤪 so, she came in 3rd. Belle had brown hair and eyes like me, loved books, was a little sassy, and defended those she loved, so she was my favorite until...
Mulan. Being part Japanese, seeing an Asian princess, and one that kicked ass as good as, sometimes better than, the boys was so inspiring. She was like Belle in a lot of ways. She went out and faced danger not only for her father, but also for herself. Reflection was the first scene in a Disney movie that made me cry that wasn't because someone died. It was a song that felt utterly relatable to a little girl like me. So, Mulan, from the Oscar-winning 1997 Mulan, was my favorite.

I'm sorry Brenda, but the 2017 live-action Mulan was actually disappointing in many ways that I won't get into. And I had very high hopes for it.
And for some reason, I thought you had gone back to Japan. Embarrassing!
I havent. I want to. Almost have twice. Always falls through.
1. I had to leave a movie theater after sitting in a seat that had been peed in.
2. I once hooked up with a cowgirl at a Halloween house party.
3. I’ve never cheated on a partner.
I was going to say 3 because it felt like there was a story. But you revealed it already, so I wont claim that victory.
1) I once let guys at a cowboy bar spank my ass for a shot. If I shed a tear, I had to buy them a shot.

2) I played saxaphone in elementary school. I never was any good at it.

3) I ran cross country in high school. It was the only sport I could participate in where I was part of a team, but basically did the activity on my own.
Oh, damn. These are great! 2 feels like less attention to detail than the rest, so I'll go with 2.

Ooh, you did fool!

I hated cross country with every fiber of my being. I'm not a runner for "fun" at all. Nope. Threw up at the end of every race. I never was last, but I was never first. Always solidly in the middle. The only athletic event my father ever came to. Hated it. I quit after 2 seasons when I fainted during a summer run.

I'm sorry you had to stick with the saxaphone so long and not enjoy it!

The spankings for shots... girl, I think we would have partied very well together 😎

because of 2 right?
No I stopped trusting her after her friend convinced her it was sinful for us to have sex. We never stopped having sex, but I broke up with her not too long after that. She cried and I took her back once but I wasn’t into it. One night an opportunity presented itself. Did break up with her for good afterwards.

Time for an opinion no one asked for…
Ok go…

I hate Beauty and the Beast with a passion. The songs are lovely, as well as the animation for its time.

BUT the concept of the movie is a guy who everyone sees as a monster (with a heart of gold but still a monster), well because he is, can be changed into a decent person……. Is fucking bullshit.

Yes he had good qualities, as do all people but…. He was mostly an asshole to his staff, the townspeople, and even Belle at first….

Long rant, slightly shortened…
If a dude is an asshole… he is an asshole.. no woman can change that, not truly.

Oh I forgot… the east wing I think full of “broken things” which if the whole house is full of animate things… he murdered a lot of his staff at some point…

See, I knew there was a story. Man, I'm sorry that was the situation you were in. Cheating always feels like one of those topics that people don't want to touch because everyone has a story. I appreciate you sharing yours here with us. I'm glad you got out of an unhealthy relationship, although I'm sorry it went that direction in the first place.

11. I've never had a sexual partner younger than me.

2. I've only ever had an orgasm with myself or a female, yet I find men sexually attractive and have had a handful of partners....

3. I was the varsity softball teams' starting catcher all four years of highschool...

So what's your favorite Disney movie?

I am thinking #3 is the lie.

…but I need to sleep, so I’ll have to find out in the morning.

Good night, all. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Princess wise or in general?
Yes.
I mean... If you wanna be a princess I'm not gonna judge....
My favorite princess is April O'Neal....
And then of course Lilo.....
After that.... The 90s princesses kinda al I'm run together for third place....

My favorite Disney movie is Robin Hood, followed by minimal difference for Lilo and Stitch....
And it's only b cause they are decades apart that I would even make them 1st and second because I love stitch without hesitation

Mulan is awesome, and my favorite of the official Princesses. I love Ming-Na Wen in most anything. I love the original Mulan stories as well. But mostly because they do such a great job of making her a strong character with outstanding agency. And feminist in the best way --it is a film where they could cut the romantic storyline out and it wouldn't really effect anything, but it isn't hurt by it being there anyway.

And she kills an entire fucking horde.

Now she isn't my favorite Disney character (that would be Lilo Pelekai), but absolutely my favorite Disney princess, Princess.
I havent. I want to. Almost have twice. Always falls through.
Ah, I was close, but so far...

Well, I have a lot of points to counter with this... I'll start with that last bit...

Not every piece of furniture was a living servant. So, assuming he murdered a bunch of them only to have the rest of the staff still care for him seems unlikely.

Now, as for people unable to change, I don't think that's right at all. We all grow as people every day. I'm certainly not who I was 10years ago, and I don't imagine you are either. "A heart of gold" already gives the premise that deep down he was a decent person who lost his way through vanity and privilege. You take those two things away, as well as being the cause of the only people who have ever cared about you being prisoner as well? That in it of itself begins to change you all on its own.

By the time Belle came along, the rose was nearly out of petals. A man was seeing the hope of being able to break the curse literally fall away a petal at a time. So, new people coming in, Beast wanted gone because hope, in his eyes, was already lost. However, fast forward to Belle making her first escape, she nearly gets torn apart by wolves, only for Beast to save her, and get injured in the process. Not because he wanted his prisoner to be prisoner still, but because he was already a good person. He could have just let her escape and die if he were really an asshole.

Belle doesn't change him. In fact, the only thing Belle does scold him on are his manners and temper. Something no one has scolded him on in years. He bites back, but he also listens. You can tell he listens to and cares for his staff as well in the scenes we see of them advising Beast. What Belle does is treat him like an equal. A human being. And that's enough to still his rage and reignite his hope that maybe, just maybe, it's not too late for this curse to be lifted after all.

So, while the man has a temper, and he had issues that definitely needed addressing, he wasn't an asshole. He was a man with flaws, hurt, trauma, and a deeper backstory than you're giving credit for.

Gaston was an asshole. He had all of Beast's flaws without the empathy or moral compass.

So, hate it if you want. Have your opinions. Just don't take the movie for surface-level story. Look a little closer. That's all.
