Imagine waking up from a cryo-bed and find yourself in an unknown spaceship. The lights have gone out, no people are around, and you have no memory of how you got their or where you are. All you know is that you in trouble.
Lost in Space is a horror, mystery, and (possibly sexual) themed roleplaying game. The characters have to figure out where they are, how they got their, and what to do.

My Character

NAME: Jake Anastasio
GENDER: Male
AGE: 25
APPEARENCE: About 6'1" and weighing 142 lb, Jake has an averge body type. He has a lightly tanned body, straight black hair, and blue eyes. He wears his military uniform almost all the time and likes to keep himself clean and tidy.
PERSONALITY: Serious and straight to the point, most people see Jake as uncaring and uninteresting. Jake likes to take charge of the situation and do his duty. He follows a code of honor and expects people to do the same.
HISTORY: Jake grew up in a poor family that was really uncaring. As soon as he turned 16 he signed up for the military, pretending to be 18. He was a natural so he rose through the ranks quickly and eventually became a captain of the Marines. The last think he remembered was signing up for leave to prepare to go back home.

AGE: 20
APPEARENCE: Sean is scrawny, short, and relatively agile. He fits the stereotype of an average computer nerd. Light brown hair, black eyes. He is 5'6"
PERSONALITY: Sean is light hearted, and care free. He can focus when he needs to, but he would rather lighten the mood with antics or a joke.
HISTORY: Sean's parents urged him from a young age to get into technology. He has developed serious advancements in the computer science fields that allow Cryo-beds to effectively function. He is routinely sent out on missions to far destinations to keep watch on the programs so the people don't ice over and fall into a cryogenic coma.

If you know some women who`d like to play then ask them to join, I`m trying to keep about an even number of males and females (3 males and 3 females or 4 males and 4 females).
Also, sexual content might or might not be in here, it matters on if the players want to or not.

You need to develop the plot a bit more, think of certain details you want to include, like what exactly the year is, size of the ship, just beef up your introduction so potential players have a pretty good idea what they are getting into. You're probably going after fans of the Alien series of movies considering the information you've already laid out. Maybe you want to play it off as a sort of pseudo-Alien thread. Dunno, just offering my two cents to help you get this thing rolling. The more detail you put in the better chances of people joining up.

Yeah, but that`s he thing, in the intro I said that the character had memory loss. They don`t know what time period it is or how big the ship is. That`s why this is labeled as a mystery games, the players will have tofind out what time period their in, and other information. If you`ve seen the movie Pandoruam, you`ll know what I mean.

Ok this is what I feared. I have people who only want to join if others will and these other will only join if the original people join, confusing? I`d say so. Here`s whos interested, whos joining, who might join, etc.

I thought about joining, but I will probably away for the next two weeks.
Still, I think the memory loss is a bit unclear. Have the character really a full memory loss? This would mean they do not know who they are, where they come from, what they did before, etc. This will be really difficult to create and play a character.
Or have the just a memory loss for the last days, not knoing how they got there? In this case it woould be good to have some info for the creation of the characters, Are they people of our actual time, the past or future?

This reminds me of Pandorum. The thing is that the crew members was in cryo hybernation and when they woke up they couldn't remember anything. They only have their skills and some flashbacks.

AGE: 41
APPEARENCE: Middleeastern origin, 5'6 tall, 39-29-39, D-Size. Brown skin, brown eyes, black hair. Hair is slightly curly, just a bit above shoulderlentgh. Wide mouth, but very pretty face. Clothing: depends on scenario.
PERSONALITY: friendly, but very determinend. She is very self aware of her knowledge and skills and will follow her career. Nevertheless she can be a very nice person.
HISTORY: Asma broke with her family and her tradition to gain what she has now, career, money and even some fame. Her only trouble is her illness - a strange kind of narcolepsy. Sometimes she just falls asleep without warning, and can be without conscience for days. (This is necessary if I am away longer).

P.S. I do not know the movie. So how much do we renember: Our names? Our biography?

APPEARENCE: Ice blue eyes, white blond hair, 6'10", heavy muscled
PERSONALITY: Gruff and distant, likes to keep to himself and of course his weights
HISTORY: Gabriel joined the Marines as a way to get out of home and to please his father who also served in the Core. Due to his bulk instructors tried to work him out, but he stuck with the program and showed everybody who doubted him that he had what it takes to be a Marine. Today he carries his 12 year service stripes with just as much pride as his Master Sargent stripes.

History: Taken at the age of six and trained everyday of his life up to twenty six years of age. His training was designed to make him one of life's first super soldiers, nicknamed Spartans for the famous soldiers that occupied Sparta several hundred years ago.
