It was drying out, from a wet 'stormin' but it's one of those pop-up things, it pops up instantly but popping it down takes a 20 stone contortionist with very long arms. I have none of the attributes. But, I'm sure after fish and chips and 2 YouTube videos I'll have the strength and know how to tackle it again

However I also LOVE drowning chips in vinegar. Nothing better. Especially by the sea from a polystyrene tray and a wooden fork.

Very difficult to get a decent steak and kidney pudding now days. Only found one pub in years that will use kidney. Meat on its own scares many, put in offal and they need resuscitation

Sadly this is true.

Love me some kidneys flash fried in oil with garlic and chilies with crispy bacon , black pudding and poached eggs on crumpets for breakfast or any time really.

Not a fan of liver though.
