Swannie's Random Stuff

Its a new year. I have been enjoying doing not a lot of anything the past weeks. It has been hot here so lots of water stuff. Some pool, some beach, some river sailing. A few evenings with something to eat and a bottle of wine by the ocean.

A lot of fish swimming around you in the water so birds are diving in and out, a couple of cute baby reef sharks coming up nice and close, then one of the resident dolphin pods came in close and one of the mums showed off her calf to everyone in the water. Sailing was fun. The other couple with us insisted on the skin at sunset river sailing tradition so we joined them.

I'm not in any great hurry to get back into anything so may the relaxed time roll on.
Delightful.

Poor snake doesn't stand a chance !!!
They took it off to a safer place. Bloke had a few holes in him, some swelling and a headache for a day, but they are not too venomous to humans
Swannie, just catching up and yep the year to take life slow and relax! Thank you for sharing.
Not by design, just having a slack January like most people here. I will put it in gear and slip the clutch sooner or later
Just saying hello, beautiful. 😘
I am here. You might need at satellite feed to get photos until I sit down and put some in here. Just aim at 31.xxx S 115.xxx E
Delightful.
Has been so far.

Summer days down here, hot and dry, no rain to be seen. The river or the beach are the best spots to be.
I actually had to put a bra on, which is a miracle for January. A funeral unfortunately, sad one at that, and it was more appropriate to be dressed up. You could almost see the same action as everyone got into cars following the wake, a mass through-the-sleeve bra removal.
The bloke has been up north directing efforts with the floods to get transport routes open. It was actually more effective to load an ambulance into the back of a Hercules, take off from one side of the river and then touch down on the other where the hospital was. Baby born in the comfort of a delivery suite after all.
I sometimes send him pics of underwear choices for the day and "allow" him to choose. Firstly it is symbolic that I will actually be wearing any that day. He couldn't make up his mind out of the three. The white ones were from a multipack where someone had obviously swapped out those from another pack as the ones bought were low cut not high. I ended up giving them a miss after all, but it is sometimes his thing.
I like the sculpture on the grass at City Beach. The larger bum on the one sitting resonates with me.
Summer brings on lots of stone fruit. I manage to buy it by the box and even with our massive diet of fruit some still gets to the edge of ripe. Nothing for than to make fruit tarts.
Almost juvenile snake hatching season. They are the crazy ones, more than the adults. They are that desperate for their first meal and therefore survival that they will attack anything and dump a full load of venom in. It is a bit of a fun pic with the sign and the keep out of dunes fence sign. Where the nude beach is there are a population of people that are nicknamed dune gophers or meerkats. Mostly gay and bi males, they hang out in the dunes and play their games or do things with an audience. Now and again you see someone stand up and look at the beach and inevitably others do at the same time. After a while there will be a few of them head down into the ocean, presumably to rinse out and start again. It could be a bit compromising to get nailed by a snake while engaged with a bunch of other snakes there. It is a military base there, so now and again the army boys get a bit mean and dust them all off with a blackhawk or a big drone. Probably good to reign them in a bit when they get a bit out of hand. (get it?) This beach is 5km long so space for everyone to spread out and do your own thing.

Enjoy yourself.

Very enjoyable views... the dunes and beach sound interesting, if not a bit sporty with snakes and high speed sand from rotor wash.

Absolutely breathtaking. Everything you do. 🌹
Well a slice of life from another end of the world. Lit cut me off at the max 10 photos so the rest may make it another day.

I have a few photos of snakes, none recent. Only thousands of the human variety within sight. I try and share a bit of 31-32 South.

They are nice. I prefer something that goes between my cheeks so inevitably thongs if I decide to wear any. Those ones form fit between my bum cheeks and around them, and are quite generous in the crotch so you don't have them disappear up your fanny or leave a flap that has worked it's way through curled crotch into the open air. The large side steps in supermarkets as you try to get things to rearrange

The boys get a bit out of hand and get sorted back into place from time to time. Part of me me would like to peek and see what the games are, the other part just leaves it to the imagination of what they get up to.

Such a broad brush of your life, so nice of you to let us in! Bloke had a tough choice. Sad today to read about the shark/dolphin incident that canceled the beach Ironman and Ironwoman. We have had our share of shark incidents lately. Also what is that fruit and how can I order one of your tarts? Have a great weekend and into the week.20230120_162919.jpg

Glad to hear he is fine.. and you had a less stressful week now that that was out of the way!!

Have a great weekend 😀

That was over east. Couple of bull sharks which are nasty sorts. Here it was 41C no wind no waves and quite lovely

The floods will still give me problems with supply chain issues. The 800km trip from Derby to Kununurra has now become a 5400km work around. But the bloke is back here laughing at it all. He had a fun trip back in the jump seat of a Hercules with a lovely all girl crew.
You prefer no knickers... Too hot here to be in them all the time, just have to judge the length of your skirt as to when to out some on. Sitting on picnic blankets tends to get a bit visual.

Lucky are they who get the view 😍
Wow!! That's some distance.. assume it makes kost things short supply or expensive!!
Or pretty much a grow in your backyard diet

Always something in view around this end of the world. People are pretty casual. May not be the place to be an ultra conservative.
I'm more concerned on mineral exports from some of the lithium and rare earths mines up there that we have interests in. Lack of investment in transport routes over the decades comes back to bite.

41c that is way warmer than here but I won't complain, let's me get heart healthy in the outdoors instead of a treadmill!

We had some flooding in my neck of the woods recently, so I can sympathize. We had what was called an atmospheric river, and it dumped a lot of rain on us. There were evacuations in the outskirts of town. This week we, thankfully, had no rain and were able to dry out.

Your neck of the woods needs more rain. It's been looking awfully dry there for a long while. Problem with a drought is that the creek and river beds dry up so the flood water slides down without the beds absorbing most of it into the water table.

Despite all the rain, we’re still in a drought. It’s just not quite as bad, despite some of the nearby farmland looking like swamps.

Oh the fruit is plums. The hybrid has a nectarine/peach type flesh colour inside. Quite tasty and a lot of fruit. We get so much on the tree that we have to use a lot in one go as much as possible.

Hmm, I might need some hybrids seeds. I look stateside for some. That combo sounds delicious.

I'm sure you can get similar in the US, probably as a graft sapling than a seed. Just make sure it is suitable for your climate.

A few more views from down this way, as summer days roll on.
Not sure if you can see it in the nautical sunset photo, with the new crescent moon out. It is Lunar new year this week, Year of the Cat in South East Asia (no rabbits live there) and Year of the Rabbit further north. The new moon is also at its closest point to earth in 992 years so if you are feeling a bit moon affected in your behaviour that's it.
The boys were out catching crabs in the river at sunset the other day. They caught the bag limit in an hour or so.
I have a bit of work to do out of Fremantle this week. It is the port town at the end of the river with a bit longer history and remaining old buildings. A university has taken over a lot of the buildings in this part of the town and turned it into a campus. It preserves a lot of buildings but does make it a bit deserted during the summer months.
Booby booty shorts. I had to buy them at the gym. They were from the pole dancing and silks clothing area but hey, boobs on my butt. There were a few glances the other day when I was shopping with them on.
Bare bums under nighties... I don't sleep with one on, just sometimes wander around the house in one if there are people about. Easy to throw off if I jump in the pool and them just pop back on. Saves the girls' boyfriends from copping an eyeful.
I was wearing the white top out to dinner the other week. It was opaque enough that I wasn't that visible through it. Perhaps the photo makes the contrast look a bit darker but there is some surface shine that doesn't really give a dark outline much shape. I changed in the end as the arm holes are a bit big and there was a likelihood that if I leaned forward for the salad or something I might get one popping out the side. Another lot of people and it would be fine.

Absolutely love the top!! Would have made any dinner more appetising!!! Though I may have had my eyes not on the plate.. either been sloppy or choking!!
Thanks for the lunar update! No wonder!! And for some reason the sky over UK (or was it only London?) Had a golden glow through the night!

Of course I enjoy the view of your body
But I truly hope you do realize how much your pics of the sunset, the boys crab fishing and that beautiful cityscape warm me up..
Thank You once again
Beautiful photos

beautiful shots. I wouldn't mind you passing me the salad as I would miss the bowl if you wore that for sure LOL.
