At least you're seeing a doctor. I've heard too many people complaining about sores, aches and pains but do nothing about it.Heading to the Podiatrist to get my left foot checked out. Originally, my GP had diagnosed me with Plantar Fasciitis. All the symptoms of that have subsided and are no longer present. Now, on the inside of my heel, I have extreme ache and sharp, radiating pain. She set me up with this appointment to get some scans and an MRI.
I'm nervous, my feet are how I make my money. If I can't walk, I can't work. I only have 3 1/2 years until i hit my magic number and will have my full pension. I'm only 46, but making my 30 years is a must. Everything will probably be fine. It'll turn out I'm just a crybaby and need to suck it up, but I've worked through a lot of pain in my career, and this has been the most difficult. I hate my job and everything about it, but I don't want to lose everything I've worked for because of a foot.
Just some introspection. It helps with the nerves if I write it out and read it. Like working through it somehow. Unfortunately, it's on a public forum, so everyone has to see it. Waste a little bit of their day listening to me whine.. I should just pop a couple Xanax and shut up. If only I had some Xanax. I'm sure everything will be just fine...
Feel free to vent. It's better to bitch on here then to punch someone and you ending up on the 6 o'clock news (not that you would do that).
Sending healing hugs you way
