☆☆☆☆☆☆ Trump Has Absolute Meltdown Over Wall Street Traders' New Phrase: TACO ☆☆☆☆☆☆

I guess it had to happen sooner or later....someone asked Trump about #TACO

Wall Street traders have their own unique codewords for stock buying and selling arbitrage.

The latest addition to their vocabulary is TACO - tagging a particular trade as a "TACO trade".

TACO stands for "Trump Always Chickens Out" when it comes to tariffs.
Probably because it has no basis in fact. Leftists are stupid and do not understand negotiations, or that tariffs are a bargaining chip.

It occurs to me this could backfire -- Trump could get so defensive about TACO that he becomes even more stubborn and intransigent, just so he won't deserve the name.

🙄

What part of “Trump ALWAYS Chickens Out” do you NOT understand???

🤔

The rubber's really going to hit the road if China moves on Taiwan or even just finishes annexing the S China Sea during his term. Because they won't give a fuck about sanctions or strongly worded statements or even Trump's "relationship" with Xi. They have enough invested in other countries with the belt & road that while a breakdown in relations with the US would hurt, it wouldn't finish them.

If a shooting war got hot, I think the Chinese navy and air forces are quietly confident too. Their long range AAMs seem to have done quite well for Pakistan recently.

That and the Chinese military has been learning from the Russian war in Ukraine and adoptimg drones big time. I suspect they are way ahead of the USA when it comes to drone warfare right now, and they'd always been big on asymmetrical warfare. If it comes to fighting, there'll be more than a few surprises. We're far too focused on conventional warfare and not enough on all the wildcards.

Have you ever watched this - The Battle at Lake Changjin (2021) - the most expensive film ever produced in China, with a budget of $200 million. The film grossed $913 million at the worldwide box office, making it the second-highest-grossing film of 2021, the highest-grossing Chinese film of all time, the highest-grossing non-English film, and the second highest-grossing film in a single market.

It's the Battle of the Chosin Reservoir, but as viewed from the Chinese side. An early lesson in assymmetrical warfare, where the Chinese Army moved secretly and without being observed.....up to the pount where they attacked.

Video not available in my country, unfortunately.

However, on China. I hope it doesn't get to a position where we (the West) are in an asymmetric and conventional war with them. I suspect we've been far too complacent about China's ambitions, even while conducted in plain sight: the B&R as previously mentioned, China cleverly getting a large chunk of what was formerly called the third world in hock to them for natural resources in return for infrastructure investment; the obvious militarisation and buildup of increasingly capable armed forces; the continuing economic domination via stuff like cheaper electric cars and electronics, probably with all sorts of backdoor killswitches pre-installed which we'll only know about when the cars stop going and the WiFi/5G packs up; even just the relentless flow of cheap but increasing in quality consumer goods - I'll admit I own several of these. From anecdotal evidence we've become addicted to Amazon stuff we can afford, the vast majority of which now originates in China. Trump's concept of returning production of this stuff to the US is sheer blindness in the face of the evidence. Nobody's going to pay $3k+ for a US-made iPhone (when Apple still made Macs in the USA they were priced where only working professionals could afford them).

China could literally win a war with the West just by completely turning off the taps for producing stuff we can afford. I wonder how many MAGA voters love their cheap Temu stuff with free shipping? Like being secretly gay, they'd never admit it to their families but they buy it just like they watch tranny porn after hours.

My feeling is that a hot war is coming and it's going to be a big shock, and sooner rather than later as they do know that TACO isn't just a meme, it's the literal truth when it comes to Trump. He'll sell out Taiwan if it comes to it just like Ukraine and Gaza, because he simply doesn't have the balls for big hard political decisions, he's just a reality TV comedian, and that's where he differs from hard nosed ruthless realpolitik bastards like Putin, Bibi and Xi.

TACO chip-based meals are, in fact, a basis for negotiations. Quite popular in Latino populations at the dinner table. "Hey, tio, are you going to eat that carne guisada taco? I'll trade you two burritos for it? "

That kind of negotiation goes on all the time, and no one has a 150% concern about them.

Dems bring us out of MAGAT induced recessions, you ignorant liar.

Your god even says the economy does better under Dem leadership.

The originator of the "TACO man" tag was Robert Armstrong, an opinion writer for the UK's "Financial Times," in a piece he wrote 2/3 weeks ago. It seems ironic that such a conservative newspaper should inadvertently hit the nail so firmly/accurately on the head.

You probably got this guy flagged for travel and on a 'watch list' in the US for posting this info... 😁 😁

In Oval Office farewell, Trump says Elon Musk is 'not really leaving'

According to President Trump, Musk is "not really leaving" and will continue to be "back and forth" to the White House.

"It's his baby," Trump said of Musk's work with Doge, short for the cost-cutting Department of Government Efficiency.

Musk's departure comes 130 days after Trump returned to office, the maximum allowable through his status as a "special government employ

That means that Musk didn't give Trump the money to pay off his debts to Putin. Musk now owns the debt and Trump has to allow him to stay in government.

Bro start at the 2 minute mark. Not only is India making fun of our beloved TACO they are pissed the my mans tried to take credit cease fire which was made possible by an an Indian military operation.
