✨Highlights and Bombshells💥

Well, damn, ok. I thought you were asking, not telling
Asking…telling…however you wanted to interpret it. Your answer was perfect all the same. 💛
Right, right, clothing. Gingham. Plaid. Little flowers, hearts, stars. The sweet stuff that contradicts my proportions, that’s always fun.
I could see you pull off the “farmer’s daughter” look - gingham button down shirt tied up around your waist, cut off jean shorts, your hair in braids ..👍🏼
I’m also a sucker for uniforms.
I’ve got a weak spot for military uniforms, myself…

I have a (edit- gingham this is houndstooth lmaooooo ok) skirt, but not a button up…

I’ll have to add it to the ever growing “photo opportunities” list I’m accumulating, because I think you’re right 😋 farmers daughter/milkmaid Pinterest board incoming.

Oh yes, that’s a good one.

The hills are alive…🎵🎶

I love birds. Owls are especially amazing.
Agreed. Raptors of all kinds fascinate me. There’s a Raptor Rehab Center near Jackson, WY that is well worth a visit if you ever find yourself out there.

My dreams feature birds more than 4 legged fur friends. Often I’m the one doing the flying.

When not on the astral plain, I love dogs especially. Cats, too, but dogs big enough to hug are way up there for me. My best former friend was a yellow Lab. *sniff*

I'm drawn to horses -- mostly for their majesty and gracefulness. A horse's gallop is one of the most beautiful sights on earth.

I'm also drawn to sea turtles -- mostly for their ancient ancestry (The oldest known sea turtle fossil dates back at least 120 million years) and long-distance migration. I once wrote an animation story and the sea turtle character was pivotal -- and I became a fan immediately.

I’ve always wanted to go hawking. There’s a place near(ish) here where you can go out for the day and have large birds of prey swoop down and land on your (heavily gloved) arm and I would love to try that. Have you tried that?

Yes horses and turtles 💜 Do you horse ride or snorkel? I was lucky enough to see a couple sea turtles in Belize while snorkeling. So beautiful and such a magical experience. I felt like I was in the presence of royalty.

I have a standing invite to visit a coworker in Belize... your post now has me looking closely at my summer calendar...I would love to experience that... It sounds amazing

I have not had the pleasure but I am game!
Last year, I read a fine book about falconry:

H is for Hawk: Helen MacDonald

I am not sure about taming raptors for pleasure, but the book is more than that.

I’m a dog guy. I LOVE dogs. I recently had a chance to spend a weekend dog sitting a pup and it was great.

When I was a kid I really wanted my own elephant and gorilla. I was pretty sure I would have those by now. But I realize they’re better off in the wild and neither of them are happy in the snow. 🤔

I am also terrified and fascinated by sharks.

Do you have animals that you are drawn to? I love wolves. Dogs. Foxes. 🦊 🐺 🐕 I dream about them a lot. Like, a lot, a lot.
Domestic: Dogs by a million
Wild, but not exotic: Hawks. We have several that soar and scream over the neighborhood. I love watching them.
Exotic-ish: Great apes. I find them so fascinating. Almost human, but still so distant.
