I stopped at the pharmacy to pick up a prescription and suddenly I had a horrible cough come on. It felt like my throat just completely dried up. I was doubling over, and that rude bitch behind the counter… at the pharmacy… didn’t even offer some water, are you okay? Nothing. So I struggle through that and said “something is wrong, this isn’t normal”… my voice was so horse (sp?) that it didn’t even sound like me.

Did that bitch even respond? Nope.

After I got outside, I started to throw up. Well, sort of. This was serious… in a pharmacy…. Just blows my mind how uncaring that fucker was. I know, because I know me, that was an allergic reaction, probably to a cologne. Luckily, after getting outside of there, and the fresh air, my body went back to normal and I didn’t even cough.

Luckily, I am fine now. But that total lack of caring about another human bothers me.

that is far more accurate in my experience. truly good and kind people arent appreciated. they are taken for granted because the majority of people only think about themselves. for the majority of people, doing something good only offers an opportunity to benefit themselves or make themselves look good. thus where we find ourselves as a country today.
