Everything worked out for me (so far anyway) today. I was able to get an appointment for a smog check that started an hour later. I then went to the DMV were, without an appointment I was able to see someone about a new vehicle verification. I dropped by the bank and was immediately seen to get a cashier's check. I was able to ship some important documents and the cashier's check off without any waiting. And the order made to pick up the food from the sandwich shop was ready 10-minutes early, being bagged as I walked in the door.
