I am just starting this now. Looks interesting.Baby Reindeer.
This show is super strange.
It's so good! If you've read the books though be warned that season two and three are reversed from the book order.Mr. Mercedes the TV series on Peacock. Really enjoying it. Just saw a scene with a Stephen King cameo LOL
good to know. ThanksIt's so good! If you've read the books though be warned that season two and three are reversed from the book order.
I started watching it with a guy I date, and ran into the same problem.. he gifted me all three books.I just finished watching the initial season of "3 Body Problem." I had no idea it would be this good. It'll feel like a long time before the 2nd season hits the airwaves...
I binge watched that one over the weekendBaby Reindeer.

Yeah I just finished it last night. It was not the show I was thinking it would be. I was expecting quirky weird not sad horrible.I binge watched that one over the weekend
Based on the people who were recommending it of my FB friends, I knew it was going to be dark. The writer/star really put himself out there. He didn’t hold back and was honest in ways that surprised me. And “Martha” is terrifying!Yeah I just finished it last night. It was not the show I was thinking it would be. Yeah, it was a lot. I didn’t enjoy it as “entertainment” and stuck with it only because I felt like I owed it that, and myself that. I felt it was a really hard watch emotionally and considered letting it go at a lot of points.Based on the people who were recommending it of my FB friends, I knew it was going to be dark. I did not know this about the lead actor! I'm watching it now. I don't know how he could reenact it all.@StillRain I definitely agree with you. I know there were content warnings on Netflix, but they are tiny on my screen and not emphasized. I wasn’t expecting the SAs, for instance. Better content warnings are essential for content like this.
Did you know the male lead is actually the person who experienced the stalking?
He wrote the story, too. He’s actually pretty upset that people are trying so hard to find out the true identity of “Martha” and the tv exec guy. His intent was to spotlight police inaction and how hard it was for him to get help, and some realities of extreme stalking.I did not know this about the lead actor! I'm watching it now. I'm getting to the TV exec involvement now. I can understand why he's upset about that. I can't imagine experiencing everything, writing about it and then acting it all out. I hope it's been a helpful process for him. It is way darker than I imagined from just reading the description about the series. I'm invested now though so I can't stop.He wrote the story, too. I’m watching this today. I don’t quite get the rave reviews. It’s like you said, mid.Fallout - it's very mid but Walton Goggins could get it even as a zombie
Oh boy. I did not. I did not know this was a real story.@StillRain I definitely agree with you. I know there were content warnings on Netflix, but they are tiny on my screen and not emphasized. I wasn’t expecting the SAs, for instance. Better content warnings are essential for content like this.

I found this storyline so incredibly disturbing and confronting. His acting was so spot on. Knowing now that this story was based in the truth for the actor/writer makes it even more horrific than I first felt it to be and even then that was on the level of so incredibly disturbing and repugnant that I don’t have the right words for it.I'm getting to the TV exec involvement now. I finished the series this evening and it kind of hurt to watch. I kept thinking about him reliving everything, but also, it made me so angry that the police did nothing for so long. And then they ask why it takes so long to come forward and report.I found this storyline so incredibly disturbing and confronting. His acting was so spot on.
