I always use the same starter word for the NYT version, then for the other two I do have preferred starters but sometimes I just shake it up a bit with dire consequences. The Swedish version goes to six letters on the weekend so that one always starts with the same. It does seem to be not okay to share our starter words here so I won't

Unlike you lot I just post my failures here, it's so much easier for me as my wins are way way too many (joking)

I bombed at French wordle this morning but in my defence WTAF!!!!! By my count there were still 3 more options ending in _ONTE, I would like to find the sadistic MF who put it together and kick him in the nuts.



The answer in case you are interested was PONTE. Must say it's not (or wasn't) part of my vocab, but my dictionary says it's "egg laying" or "bigwig".

I guess I was lucky. I got those same three letters, but on my 3rd try, not my second, so I had eliminated more wrong options.
Also, since I have the easy settings, I used a 5th word that I knew was wrong but that let me narrow the options.
