I also had the 2nd, 3rd and 5th letters on my second word. I thought I came up with all the letters that could fill in those spaces and went through them in the next 3 choices. None fit. I was stuck for a long time. What letter was left that could go before that second letter.
Finally came to me.
A real "phew."
