((Sorry for being gone hehehe))

James grins... he has finally gotten a date! For the first time in three years, a break in the ice that has clouded his mind! He walks down the hall, heading for his locker, a big, wide grin on his face... then he sees Ms. Asel, the Biology proffessor. her face is red, splotchy as it gets when she is angry.. James looks behind himself, checking to be sure that someone else is the object of the proffesor's anger.. there is no one there!

Ms. Asel walks briskly towards James, his eyes cold, and angry; James knows what this is about.

Ms. Asel practically growls at him "Your paper! It is plagerized! You stole this information!"

James sighs.. this is definitly expulsion material.. there goes his scolarships...

Ms Asel continues "Now, I noticed you were talking to that French girl, that Chantalle or whatever..."

James interupts "Its Chantelle, Ms. Asel, and with whom I associate is no business to you!"

Ms Asel, shocked at the interuption, is silent for a few seconds, and continues, her face getting splotchy again..
"Your right! What do you think I should do about this paper, hmm?"

"You should probably expel me."

"And give you a VACATION?!"

"Thats what I would do if I were you. Its only fair"

"No. I'm not going to expel you. I am going to give you another paper, fail you with this one, expect the make up paper due in two days. No less."

"Thats not fair! Thats not even right! If one of the other students faked thier paper, you'd expel them!"

"Thats right. But I know your secret... about your parents. A little bit of incarceration, hmm? Just how many banks did your father rob, and how many people did your mother kill, James?"

James is obviously shocked... his parents had gone on a crime spree.. so far, the FBI and GBI had let him go, even put him in a witness program, so that any nuts wouldnt grab him... but how had the proffessor find out?

"Why are you helping me.. how did you.. find out?"

"That doesnt matter. I know. Thats all that matters. Now do that paper, my reasons are my own.."

James stalks off, visibly angry... he opens his locker, tosses his physics book in the already mussed up locker, and walks off.

Suddenly she turned around; her expression tormented, angry... yet sad.

Her eyes looked imploringly into his, her voice was impassioned as she spoke.

”How can you say that.. that you love me Devin?”

Devin's eyes widened, and he let the hurt and pain seep in. The hurt and pain was there -- he didn't need to make it up. This was the real reason why his acting was so real... he had a lot of material in his mind to choose from.

She's good.

Yes...

She took a step towards him.

”If you loved me, you would trust me… last time… last time you said.. you promised that you would!

A little drop of disappointment swelled in Devin's breast.

Well, she's not being as serious as me, then.

Don't be too sure. You can still prove to her you care. And you KNOW you're thinking about the making up part at the end.

Didn't I tell you to shut up?

Her voice faded dramatically to a whisper, the pain and disappointment clear in her voice.

… and… now you accuse me again… “

I accused James, Devin protested inside, and his eyes reflected his confused frustration and utter despair.

It's very much the same. You didn't blame yourself until it was too late...

Ugh. Can you believe it? The one time I DON'T blame myself for something, it turns out to be when I'm at fault.

Shh. Pay attention and stop moping.

Her voice faded to a whisper, pain and disappointment clear in her voice. She let tears spring to her eyes and turned just late enough to ensure he had seen. Her face turned away from him, she spoke softly.

”How can you … ?”

She breaks off, attempting to hold back a sob, struggling for composure.

”You embarrass me… insult me… and before all those people and yet, you expect me to believe that you love me?”

Shit.

She turns back to Devin, letting him see the tears on her cheeks. Her eyes lock with his.

Go to her! Now!

Without even a smidgeon of self-doubt or questioning, Devin rose, torment and passion in his eyes, and strode purposely toward Chantelle, his arms outstreched.

She watches him stand and begin to close the distance between them.

”Why would I want anyone else? “

Ggkkkk!?

Hahaha! I win!

It's... just acting. Don't take it too seriously...

I are winner! You are loser! Now go make out with her.

To Devin's credit as an actor, his swarm of strange emotions rose up and gave a very accurate protrayal of a lover in torment. After all, that's what he was.

She lets her voice lower to a hoarse whisper;
she raises swimming eyes to Devin.

”Ohh… Devin… why do you do this, when I love you so…?”

Unable to help himself, Devin rushed forward and gathered Chantelle into his arms.

"Oh... Chantelle... I am such a fool. I am so undeserving of your love." He looked up into her eyes, and true tears had gathered in his as well. "You are a goddess, and my petty jealousy attempts to keep you away from others. Little did I know that I should have been spending my all-too-short time with you worshipping you and thanking Heaven that you should care for me..."

He pulled her closer. "...and thanking you..."

Without even thinking, he placed a hand in her soft auburn hair and pulled her lips to his, kissing her softly.

Whoah! Smooth! I like this New Devin.

Wh-what am I doing...?

Chantelle Dubois

Chantelle was totally taken over by her character.
She looked up and saw the one she loved who had treated her so badly.
She did not question why it had been so easy to act out the role with Devin.
She had been disappointed that he hadn't cared enough to make his interest felt.
After they had introduced, he had all but ignored her at the table.
Chantelle used those emotions of rejection and hurt and amplified them now.

Devin's arms were about her.
She felt herself gathered against his chest.
The breathless gasp she gave was excellent acting, her subconscious insisted.

"Oh... Chantelle... I am such a fool. I am so undeserving of your love."

Their eyes locked. The love flowed openly between them.
Shared tears of longing and disappointment demonstrating their passion.

"You are a goddess, and my petty jealousy attempts to keep you away from others.
Little did I know that I should have been spending my all-too-short time with you worshipping you and thanking Heaven that you should care for me..."

Still Devin drew Chantelle closer, pulling her against him.

"...and thanking you..."

His hand was on her hair as he guided her head to his lips.
It was a natural move, totally in character.
Instinctively, Chantelle moved her lips against his as he kissed her softly, tenderly.
The kiss deepened as Chantelle gave a soft breathless gasp.
She pressed her curvaceous body into his...

The kiss ended as Chantelle, rosy cheeked looked up adoringly at Devin....

"Ohh... Devin... take me to bed...?"

She purred huskily....

To Chantelle, her character's final offer brought the scene to an end.
The invitation indicated that despite everything, Chantelle had once more forgiven Devin's character...

Isaac watched the girl carefully a moment as she spoke, and settled herself. He saw her pupils dilate, the slow wash of goosebumps up her arm, and he saw those entirely delectable lips part just slightly as breath escaped in a quiet, invisible, rush. He didn't let himself think too hard, instead he just leaned back comfortably in his chair. A shake of his head and that long, shadow-dark hair danced back over his shoulders. His lean arms crossed with deliberation and Isaac leveled his steady eyes onto her. Those full lips curled slowly into a knowing smirk and his eyes simply smouldered. An incubus would have been proud to look that seductive.

He watched her rise and flood excuses as she ran off. It cooled him and the simmering blaze of interest settled into the more common amusement. Still, it was time for class. Perhaps next time she'd even introduce herself before hitting on him. The thought illicited a wry chuckle and a shake of his head. His fingers extricated a lighter from his pocket, and pulled one of the numerous hairbands off.

He let his eyes wander again as he put back his hair. Obviously enjoying the crisp lines of her legs, the tease of the skirt, and the curves of her breasts as they bounced just so. A picture flashed into his mind: her, bent over his desk, her soft hair in his fist, and her skirt pushed over her hips, and screaming as she came on the end of him.

He bit his lip at the thought and smiled quietly to himself as he collected his laptop and school books. Then, proceeding with the rest of the lunch populace, made his way to class. For him it was nothing exciting. Independent study.

Rick searched the cafeteria, the lounges, and halls but couldn't find this exchange student he was supposed to show around. He checked his schedule with the copy of her schedule given to him by the clerk.
*Ah she's got the PE class I'm teaching. CRAP and the same one I'm late for. Eh, coach won't mind.*

Rick checked coaches office and caught him in mid swig of his flask.

"Don't worry coach I'm your TA and I'll handle these PE weenies"

Rick changed in the locker room into his running shorts and school t shirt with the sleeves cut off.

He headed towards the bleachers where the girls PE class was waiting. There were only 10 of them so it should be too bad of a class he thought to himself.

"ALRIGHT EVERYONE LINE UP FOR ROLE CALL!"

As each one of them slithered on to the basketball court he took inventory of each one looking them up and down.

He noticed one that seemed to be showing a little more than school policy was allowed and eyes his stared a little longer on that one. He knew that he better control himself because the running shorts he had one were not going to hide anything. At that point Rick new that teaching this class was going to be interesting and if he was lucky really fun.

"Ohh... Devin... take me to bed...?"

GGGgkkgkgkK!

Yikes! She moves fast! Well... nothing else to do, eh?

B-But she can't really mean it. She's acting, and I'm a virgin, and she's incredibly sexy. Incredibly...

Well, tell her the truth.

I...

Devin gathered up Chantelle in his arms and took her to the couch, sitting down and cradling her in his lap, holding her head up to look deeply and soulfully into her eyes.

"Chantelle," he whispered passionately, "I wasn't acting. Ever. I've never been so enamored of someone in my life. I want you. Right now." He leaned in, ever so slightly. "Everything I learn about you makes you more alluring. Every moment I am with you, you are more attractive." His eyes were filled with a passion and desire that could not be from this world. "I have spent my life learning about myself from introspection and self-absorbtion. Never have I learned more about myself than in this day--a day of reaching outside of myself."

Ugh... how melodramatic... am I still acting...?

You're too smart, Devin. You keep second-guessing yourself. Don't you know when your passion is true?

...no. Not even now. Am I doing her a disservice...?

How about you find out?

Devin looked inside himself, and saw the safe ravine that he hid in, the place safe from any of his crazy emotions. He had grown used to them bubbling over, but this---he was on the verge of sanity, and he was about to lose it completely. Staring into his own mind, at the metaphorical door protecting him from his emotions, he did the safest thing he could do.

He kicked that door down.

"My goddess," he whispered, his eyes ablaze with need. "Let me partake of ambrosia..."

James heads for his apartment.... so tired.. he really screwed up today.... asshole parents...

Why'd I have to upset Chantelle? Its not my fault... I.. didnt mean it that way.. but her pursed lips.. her eyes.. they were perhaps angry? I dont know.. anymore.. so tired.... and Ms. Asel! The nerve of that woman.... so what if I cheated on her damn paper? I hate biology!

James lies down on his bed... he sighs, realizing that he has inspection for JROTC tomorrow.. and a test.. damn them! Do they make me miserable on purpose?

Hold on a minute.. perhaps that wasnt anger.. perhaps.. she wanted me? Oh give me a break! You dont have a chance with a pretty girl like that! First person I met who.. whose eyes were so filled with passion..

He waits beside the phone, postponing the damn paper, and ironing his JROTC uniform.. screw those assholes! I dont like the military, anyway.. just got to use them for a scholarship...

Standing up, he streaches, realizing he must have dozed for about fifteen minutes.. dreaming of Chantelle..

Got to get her out of my head... why should I do that?

You know you want her

You again?! Stupid subconsence! Out! out with you! Damnitt!

Very well. You need me. Dont forget that.

In anger, he walks outside, a blast of delicious cold hitting him, (its about 20 Degress Farenheit.. sorry dont know the conversion into Celcius.. oh well) as he is unadjusted to the cold, he hugs his arms around himself, trying to warm... but a fire in his heart keeps his mind sharp.. He continues walking down the sidewalk, till he reaches the theatre building.. voices.. who is it? Wishing to flee from the cold, and colder thoughts, he enters the heated auditorium.. and what does he see?
Chantelle.. Devin.. thats right, he wanted to practice with her.. I feel so guilty.. we have been friends since our freshman year.. I shouldnt try to grab his girlfriend.. wait.. his girlfriend? Who says it's his girlfriend!

You just did.

you again?! Who says you can get in MY head again?!

Duh. We share it, you idiot! Just watch! Hide! Quickly! so that they cannot see you, but you can!

James quickly ducks behind a chair, watching the unfolding scene

Chantelle allowed a look of surprise to cross her face as she felt herself gathered up and carried to the sofa.
She looked up at Devin, hearing him whisper.

"Chantelle, I wasn't acting. Ever.
I've never been so enamored of someone in my life.
I want you. Right now. Everything I learn about you makes you more alluring. Every moment I am with you, you are more attractive. I have spent my life learning about myself from introspection and self-absorbtion. Never have I learned more about myself than in this day--a day of reaching outside of myself."

Chantelle looked up at him, with an admiring expression.
"God this guy was good!"
He would make a great partner in drama classes, after all that is what she wanted to excel in!

"My goddess! Let me partake of ambrosia..."

Again Chantelle gave herself up to the deep kiss.
Her head tipped back in studied submission....

As they parted, she looked up with him, slightly pink-cheeked.

"Ohhh.. Devin.... "

She whispered...

"That was sooo good.. I could really feel that... every emotion, so realistic.... you are a damn good actor, but... of course you realise no one can know... "

She leaned close so that no one could overhear.

"... can know... how good my English is. If we do this again... like this.. it must be alone... I have to parler a la Francais en publique, tu sais... "

Aware suddenly that she was still laid across his lap and in his arms, she smiled self-consciously, moving slightly expecting him to help her wriggle free from the improvised embrace...

....uh.

His eyes widened, and grew dull with horror.

Wow.

You think...?

Yes.

Oh, no.

"Ch-Chantelle," he said, his face now slightly pale. "N-no. I'm not acting now. R-really. I mean it. I wasn't kidding."

Ugh...

Damn it! I told you! She was acting all along! Damn you! Damn you! Damn you! I'll never listen to you again!

Devin...

He felt his heart flicker.

"I'm sorry," he whispered. "You were acting." He loosened his grip. "I was being selfish, and trying to get you into a position where I could grow attached to you." He shook his head. "I'll never betray your secret. And... I guess we can be friends. If that's what you want."

Oh, I'm so sorry. Please don't give up...

You see! I'll never succeed! I'm NOT a good person! I listen to you, I try to follow my heart and my passion, and sometimes I do help people, yes, but... but when I want something...

He swallowed, and averted his eyes from her. He knew if he looked at her, he might not be able to resist... "Chantelle, please leave, if you don't want me to do something foolish..."

Chantelle Dubois

"Ch-Chantelle. N-no. I'm not acting now.
R-really. I mean it. I wasn't kidding."

Chantelle looked at him. She had known deep down.
Known there had been more to the scene than ...

"I'm sorry. You were acting.
I was being selfish, and trying to get you into a position where I could grow attached to you.
I'll never betray your secret. And... I guess we can be friends. If that's what you want."

Chantelle smiled, but Devin was too apologetic, to distraught to notice.

"Chantelle, please leave, if you don't want me to do something foolish..."

Chantelle looked into his eyes.
His apologies touched her.
His kiss had... but she was curious as to how much was Devin and how much was acted.

"Devin... next time you kiss me... just make sure I know just "who" is making love to me ... "

She whispered softly ...

Devin's head jerked up, and he looked her in the eyes again.

A-Am I really... shy?

Good work, genius! You could've asked me.

"It... was always me," he said softly.

"I'm sorry, Chantelle," he whispered. "I should have told you what I was doing. What I thought was excusable shyness and fear of admitting my... my desire... was really inexcusable deception of I person I care about -- you."

He averted his eyes slightly, once again. "People tell me I'm a good actor, but..." He flushed. "I've never acted in my life. Everything I do is fueled by something I really feel..."

He swallowed. "That was why I think that dialog was the best performance I've ever made on a stage... because it ALL was my feelings..." He cleared his throat. "I swear I'll be honest with you from now on, Chantelle. Without even realizing it, I deceived you... I only meant to..."

A pause.

Devin.

What did I mean to do?

Devin...

I know.

Devin, please.

He had to make a choice.

Devin, who are you?

I...

I've been waiting, Devin. Will you fight me forever?

He made the choice.

The glint returned to his eyes, that flush of pride, that passion of honesty and emotion restoring him. "No!" he said, yet obviously to himself. "There are no excuses." He looked at Chantelle, and smiled, somewhat forlornly, yet with that image of passion remaining. "You are so beautiful, Chantelle; and because of that simple fact, all the virtues I thought I had fell away in disgrace. I meant to take advantage of you while you thought I was acting, and now I realize it. I have been living inside of myself too long, thinking I was so wise, and oblivious to my own base intentions that I had been hiding away... thinking I had risen above them when I had only shuffled them to the side..."

He shook his head, and he no longer seemed ashamed. "So I will not hide, but I will not fight it. Chantelle, I did not lie. I do want you, right here, right now, and if you want to avoid me doing something rash, you'd better tell me right now--"

The handsome young man leaned in, and his arms tightened around Chantelle, pulling her dangerously close. "--or I won't stop."

That passion... he was never acting?

You see the power of a woman, Devin? You would have never learned this about yourself... you would have never believed in me...

Oh, I don't believe in you, thought the bitter part of Devin that remained. I won't believe unless she accepts me... unless someone can prove to me that I'm truly not worthless...

She's so beautiful...

James closely studies the two other occupants in the room.. the room... to himself, he idily wonders... "is it a room... or a theatre? Or an auditorum... I guess there are seats.. but they use this for announcments, too... hmm... well the acoustics are certainly bad, I cant hear those two down there.." AS he watches, Devin holds Chantelle, and kisses her.. he cant see many details, though.. he continues in his inner monolouge "Score one for Devin, it seems.. well, he deserves it... a good rasp on the head, too, but I suppose I'll let him get by on this one..."

Continuing to watch, James feels a bulge in his pants, thinking of Chanetelle and Devin, thier arms locked in passion..

I wish Chantelle spoke more English.. or me more French! Really should have taken French 2! The language barrier ought to be halarious.. the Thai speaking.. well Thai, and Chantelle and I having difficulties as is.. cant wait till the date... going to have to call her..

Whats this? Thier embracing.. hmm.. well isnt that special.. well, I am going to watch.. got to be sure that Devin knows what he's doing...

Rick finishes roll call and counts the students against his list and notices one of the girls missing. He looks around and notices the young vixen with the revealing school colors lounging on the bleachers. He checks his list again.

"Miss Elisaveta. Do we have a problem?"

Right after he says her name out loud he realizes that this is the exchange student that was assigned to him. He questions whether she realizes that or not.

Rick realizes how careful he has to be right now. He's going to have to teach this class that she is in and be her guide for the next semester. So little could determine a bad semester or a great semester.

Alexia Kenton

"It... was always me, I'm sorry, Chantelle, I should have told you what I was doing. What I thought was excusable shyness and fear of admitting my... my desire... was really inexcusable deception of I person I care about -- you."

Chantelle smiled.

”No Devin.. you can act. You must believe that.
What I saw you do today in class… it was incredible.
You must develop that talent.”

She insisted.

"People tell me I'm a good actor, but... I've never acted in my life. Everything I do is fueled by something I really feel..."

Smiling she insisted softly.

”But that is what we all do.
We draw from our personalities.
Every character is us, an aspect of us.
A self we want to be, or a self we conceal… that’s how it is Devin.”

"That was why I think that dialog was the best performance I've ever made on a stage... because it ALL was my feelings...I swear I'll be honest with you from now on, Chantelle. Without even realizing it, I deceived you... I only meant to..."

She spoke soflty.

”Because you wanted me… because you felt it… because you let it out… “

Chantelle was unperturbed by Devin’s confession, by his kiss and listened in surprise as he became agitated.

"No!There are no excuses.
You are so beautiful, Chantelle; and because of that simple fact, all the virtues I thought I had fell away in disgrace. I meant to take advantage of you while you thought I was acting, and now I realize it. I have been living inside of myself too long, thinking I was so wise, and oblivious to my own base intentions that I had been hiding away... thinking I had risen above them when I had only shuffled them to the side..."

She looked at him in puzzlement, wondering why he was so harsh on himself.
Why he could not allow himself to want to…. but still he continued…

"So I will not hide, but I will not fight it.
Chantelle, I did not lie.
I do want you, right here, right now, and if you want to avoid me doing something rash, you'd better tell me right now --- or I won't stop."

Chantelle saw the determination in his eye.
Her eyes widened in surprise.
Was he serious? Would he take her there and then?
She did not believe that Devin would do such a thing, yet…

His words had aroused her, she realised.
Suddenly he seemed so determined.
She blushed hotly aware that they were pressed close together, she still laid across his lap in the intimate dark of the empty theatre . . . .

She jumped as she heard a noise in the auditorium.
Her head snapped round as she peered into the darkness.
Surely there was someone out there….?
Her grasp on Devin had tightened temporarily.
Her eyes met his questioningly realising that he had heard it too…

"You hate excersice?"
He yells at the rest of the class, "Alright ladies, out to the track, 5 laps warm up. MOVE. I'll be out in a few to make sure everyone is RUNNING, not walking."

Rick walks over to the bleachers in front of Elisa as the other girls shrug themselves out of the gym. He gets closer so the other girls can't hear anything as they leave.
"Come on you can't tell me that a little hottie like you hates getting all hot and sweaty." Rick said with a wink and a smirk.

He tries to ignore but can't escape the fact that he can see the edges of her panties trying to escape or shorts and that her shirt is so tight that he can easily make out her nipples.

"And ESA is Exchange Student Assistant. Someone has been assigned to show you around and keep you outta trouble for the first semester that you're here."

Rick didn't want to reveal to her that he was assigned to her quite yet. He was afraid he'd lose some of his power as a teacher if he told her that he was supposed to be helping her. She would find out soon enough anyway.

No. This cant be happening. James spots the troublesome knee that had bumped the chair... he must have hit it when getting a better view... what to do?! Surely they will see me.. I'll never get a chance with Chantelle... damnitt! James sighs, standing up, looking down on them.. How ironic... caught in the act while catching another in the act.. and the ironic thing is... I was caught! I never expected this would happen... damn! I must face the music, it seems... unless I run... I should not let them know who I am! they cannot see me from there! I'll wait, and see thier reaction!

Chantelle Dubois

With a glance at Devin, Chantelle slipped from his lap and walked slowly across the stage peering into the auditorium.

"Please.. who is this... you like our playing .. our performance no?... It is good?"

Only Devin could see the consipiratorial wink she gave him as once more she donned on her laboured English.

She pouted deliberately.

"Ahhhhh we are too bad I am thinking.
They will not be saying if we do it good or no... ?"

James speaks up.. probably the bravest thing he has ever done..

"Please.. who is this... you like our playing .. our performance no?... It is good?"

"You are both, very very excellent actors. But whom is acting. and who isnt?"

Stepping down the stairs, he is thrust suddenly into the light of the stage, a small smile on his face, but a burning fire in his eyes, of hunger, when he sees Chantelle

"It is a pleasure to see you, Chantelle, and you, Devin. Was taking a stroll.. seemed to have gotten a little.. sidetracked.."

James walks up to Chantelle, and grins

"You seem suprised to see me."

Chantelle Dubois

"You are both, very very excellent actors.
But whom is acting. and who isnt?"

Charlotte tries to make out the shape approaching the stage.

"But...we act.. les deux... "

She insists.

"It is a pleasure to see you, Chantelle, and you, Devin.
Was taking a stroll.. seemed to have gotten a little.. sidetracked.."

Chantelle's eyes widen as she realises who their audience as been.

"You seem suprised to see me."

She shrugs.

"Mais, oui... I think you are too scientific to have interest in the acting, in the theatre... "

She eyes him curiously wondering what he is really doing here!?

"Mais, oui... I think you are too scientific to have interest in the acting, in the theatre... "

Laughs, wholeheartedly

"Me? Scientific? you seem to have gotten me all wrong! I hate it. All of it. They expect me to know it all.. ever since elementary. I cant help it the... nevermind. Someone screwed up, is all. Not anyone you or I know."

Smiles, deciding to take an oppotunity.. he closes in on Chantelle, a pain in his heart, he cannot lose his friend, but he must kiss her! He loves her!

"I.. never took an interest in acting.. I was too busy.. with other things.. too much drama.. I already have enough."

Wanting to hold her.. needing to. But should he? He shall!

Close to her.. can feel her breath on my skin...

Chantelle Dubois

Chantelle looked questioningly as James laughed.
He came closer and stepped up onto the stage with them.

"Me? Scientific? you seem to have gotten me all wrong!
I hate it. All of it. They expect me to know it all.. ever since elementary.
I cant help it the... nevermind. Someone screwed up, is all.
Not anyone you or I know."

Chantelle nods, only half understanding his meaning.
She watches as he comes to stand close to her.

"I.. never took an interest in acting.. I was too busy.. with other things.. too much drama.. I already have enough."

Chantelle smiled:

"C'est dommage.. is a shame... but.. Devin.. he does it so good.
He is excellent... you must try some time James.. is fun... I like very much... "

She turned to beam at Devin, then turned back to James.

"I need more practise, I think. Devin says he will be helping me.
I want become famous actressee.. "

She broke off with a giggle.

C'est dommage.. is a shame... but.. Devin.. he does it so good.
He is excellent... you must try some time James.. is fun... I like very much... "

James grins, glad she thinks it is a shame.....

"Perhaps we three could practice somtime. Maybe I could get good at it. You two are excellent! I couldnt hear a damn thing you two said, though."

"I need more practise, I think. Devin says he will be helping me.
I want become famous actressee.. "

James grins, now to slip in the compliment... perhaps the kiss? an innocent one, for a start.

"You could do it. You are beautiful enough, smart enough, and talented enough. Plus that accent drives men wild"

James leans in and innocently kisses her on the cheek

"See? You drive me wild"

Chantelle Dubois

"Perhaps we three could practice somtime. Maybe I could get good at it.
You two are excellent! I couldnt hear a damn thing you two said, though."

Chantelle is delighted their words had gone unheard.
She responds enthusiastically to the idea to cover her relief.

"Ahh... we three.. nous trois?.. Quelle bonne idee!
It will be tres interessant, non?"

Chantelle looks anew at James as he speaks.
Far from the academic she had thought, she realises that he is surprisingly charming.

"You could do it.
You are beautiful enough, smart enough, and talented enough. Plus that accent drives men wild"

"You think so?"

Chantelle allows herself to be persuaded.
Her cheek pinks slightly at the outrageous comments.
She smiles softly as James drops the soft kiss on her rosy cheek.

Lowering her eyes demurely, she whispers...

"Tu es tres gentil, je n'en merite pas.. "

Seeing Jame's confusion, she appears to struggle with the English translation.

"I am saying.. you are very kind, I am not deserving this... "

"Ahh... we three.. nous trois?.. Quelle bonne idee!
It will be tres interessant, non?"

Is glad he grabbed that year of french...

"Thank you, I am glad you like the idea. Later, perhaps.. interesting.. yes, it would be."

"I am saying.. you are very kind, I am not deserving this... "

"You are too modest. It is an honor to be able to kiss your cheek, one that I regard as the highest imaginable"

James smiles, glad he was able to get that one out without falling over himself...

Sorry Devin..

James leans forward, and kisses Chantelle, full on the lips, gently, albiet shyly

"And the greatest honor of all, Chantelle, is to live for you, for your happiness.. I would love that honor, Chantelle...."

Looks apologetically at Devin slightly, praying he hasnt messed up thier friendship forever..

"Both of us.. I know, Devin, I see the way you look upon her.. love you, Chantelle. Madly, utterly, completely.."

"Thank you, I am glad you like the idea. Later, perhaps.. interesting.. yes, it would be."

Chantelle nods, wondering if Devin will share the same opinion, then she remembers that he and James are freinds and realises that he too would have fun rehearsing as a threesome.[/I]

"You are too modest.
It is an honor to be able to kiss your cheek, one that I regard as the highest imaginable"

Chantelle's blush is genuine this time.
His words are pure flattery, yet ...

She raises her eyes to him.

"Earlier ... I am thinking that all you are doing is work and serious and having no fun...
Is nice to find you are enjoying more things, surtout la dramatique..."

Chantelle watches James move towards her.
She does not expect the full kiss.
She stands bemused as he speaks;

"And the greatest honor of all, Chantelle, is to live for you, for your happiness.. I would love that honor, Chantelle...."

She watches James glance over at Devin and blushes hotly.

"Both of us.. I know, Devin, I see the way you look upon her.. love you, Chantelle. Madly, utterly, completely..

Chantelle looks from one to the other.

"James... you are tres romantique, mais.. but.. you do not know me yet... tu ne me connais pas de tout... "

She raises a hand and touches his cheek softly.

"Tranquillement mon brave... "

She smiles softly, not mocking him, but, despite her calm response, she is still taken aback by his words.

"We have so much time... "

She glances at Devin wondering what he is thinking of James' appearance...
