So many vampire movies I love, being a nocturnal insomniac vampire kitty myself, but I’m going to go with the second Marvel movie ever made: Blade

A vampire killing other vampires….a day-walker!!! Of course I would pick Blade, the younger me thought he was so cool with his sword fights. And the opening sequence in the first movie in the vampire club will always stay with me

Blade is probably my favorite vampire movie but it was taken. Twice. So... I'm going to go another route... Stupidest vampire movie with a cast hot enough to make me not care.

I usually can watch older scary movies after dark when I'm alone without a problem. This one was pretty freaky and probably not a good idea to watch alone at night.

What if Max Schreck from Nosferatu was a real vampire?

And if you want to watch the most avante garde & fucked up film in existence, watch another film by this director called Begotten.
I'm pretty sure he's using celluloid to make real spells.

Day 13: The last scary movie you saw.
Had to chose one I hadn't reviewed yet. A 2010 Norwegian found footage documentary about college students following the government employee whose job it is to find and exterminate trolls who infringe on civilization while hiding their existence. Why is he allowing them to film him? Office politics.

It is a dark, humorous, and sometimes downright scary film. It is also gorgeous, with the beautiful landscape of Norway as a co-star.

It's a classic. Dario Argento directed some really great Italian horror movies.

I might suggest we just do a 30 days of holiday/winter movies…you know…don’t need to lean into the cultural dominance. Plus NYE Film marathons are a thing…at my age…at least.
