I even tried to work on a story that I'm writing....seems, for the moment, I have lost my touch ...

4 hours?- that's not good, I tend to exist on about that when my insomnia kicks in, and it really does drag you down...

Still getting over the flu- supposed to be going back to work today, but don't know if that's a good idea yet.At least I didn't have to spend most of the day in bed for a change....

Not sleeping well either, but that's nothing new

Can't believe I've still got it- thought it was just a bit of a cold, and I usually manage to shake those off in a couple of days, but I've had this for nearly a week now...

Hi hun- apparently some kind of virus- that's all they could tell me. Couldn't prescribe anything to make it go away, just lots of rest and sleep, so ended up being off work all week. Should be back in the outside world on Monday

Glad to hear you're OK- hope you're having a good time away. Good luck with the new laptop- I've been using one since my old PC died last year. I bought a new PC a couple of weeks back and I'm still setting the damn thing up- beginning to wonder why I bothered, I'm still using the laptop far more...
