2008 News & Views: Discussion and Announcements for the Survivorphile

Hello?

Hello? Is there anyone else in here? Hello?

Why do they put us in these little boxes? I'm bored. They should have a television down here or an Internet hookup.

I hate coming here to post my stories. I get the creeps. It's so dark. They should at least leave a light on so that I can see. I wish I broght my flashlight.

What was that? I heard a noise. Hello?

Does anyone know the score?

Jimmy Hoffa

I don't know about you, but I hate bugs and there are big bugs everywhere.

I think I saw where Jimmy Hoffa is buried.

This place as tunnels leading everywhere and to nowhere.

When I came in, I had to climb down the ladder by the hatch. The elevator was out again. I hate coming down here. Now, I understand why no one posts to their score card.

I'm not sure what you mean by that. I posted to mine just today, and you have posted to yours dozens of times already.

It appears as if it's happening again this year. Yesterday we looked around and already found a Humor & Satire piece posted as Erotic Couplings, even though there is no sexual content in it whatsoever. If this persists, the continued posting of submissions by an individual to the wrong category solely with the intent of getting more points than they'd be otherwise entitled to, we'll be forced to consider this a blatant cheating attempt, with all the possible consequences described in the rules.

I was looking through this thread, and found this post and a similar one by you a bit earlier. You know, I hope, that authors are not the ones who determe in what category a story will be posted. We suggest, but it is up to Management. One of my two most recent posted stories, Brenda's Fate, is about a woman who was abducted and is being held against her will by a man. I wanted it in BDSM, but it appears in NC/R, even though there is no actual sex in it.

We know that does happen from time to time, however there have been issues with people putting stories in the wrong category on purpose in order to get the 10 story bonus easier... and it's still happening.

Btw, Box, if a woman is abducted and held against her will, it does sound to me like it should be in Non-Consent... except maybe for the no sex part... then it should be in Non-Erotic.

It was an unusual story for me to write. Usually, I write about men and women and unicorns and Zoopians having fun, consensual sex together, sometimes involving spanking or tying somebody up. Even my NC/R stories are usually role-playing.

This one is nothing like that. It is about a woman who is tied up and held against her will by a man who wants to turn her into a ponygirl, and ride on her as if she were a pony. She wasn't raped, except for having a butt plug with a tail attached wedged into her ass.

Because she is bound, I thought of bondage. Since she is a victim of the man's fetish, it could probably fit into Fetish, but NC/R would not be my choice. If I were to continue the story, which I probably won't, I might have her raped by the man's goons, which would make it NC/R.

The butt-plug is enough to get it into the erotic category. "Held against her will" is the key phrase that got it put into Non-Consent. If she had been a willing participant, then I'm sure it would have been left in BDSM.

Have a ball.

Let it be known, that if anyone feels that any of my stories are posted in the wrong category, it is not an attempt by me to cheat anyone to earn more points. I don't need the points.

Please feel free to go through all of my stories and tell management to move whatever story you feel should be in the appropriate category. Just give me the courtesy of telling me so that I can correct my scorecard.

By the way, I plan on writing so many stories this year that I will still win the Survivor Contest even if you put every one of my stories in the Non-Erotic and/or the Reviews and Essay Categories.

So...knock yourself out. Have a ball.

I've already won the contest this year with the stories that I have ready and waiting to post. No one, no matter how many group together to steal the contest away, can beat me.

Can you say...1,000 points.

"Meow!"

Hey Boxlicker, after you go through my scorecard making sure that all my stories are posted in the appropriate categoies, I have some laundry that you can check through.

Just give me a heads up where you are complaining where my stories to so that I can adjust my scorecard accordingly.

By the way, many times, I post a story to the category that I believe it fits, only to have it moved. So, if you are complaining that I am cheating, take it up with whoever moved my story to that category.

I have no control where my story is ultimately posted. I just write the thing.

Good luck to you in the contest. I hope you win. I can use the competition this year.

Thanks for me a shit.

"Meow!"

I am not a cheater. I am a writer.

Hostility?

I am without doubt the most bashed writer on here. You just have to look at my scorecard and watch all my red H's disappear after some psycho posts enough low scores to erase them, only to watch them reappear when Literotica does a sweep of my card.

You should read some of the nasty comments, sick e-mails, and death threats I receive on a daily basis just for...writing stories.

I was "Mr. Nice Guy" last year and had people take advantage of me. I was constantly and continually accused of cheating in the Survivor Contest.

I had just joined. I had no idea where certain stories should post. I wrote notes in the note field telling whoever posted them to post them in the correct categories.

Nonetheless, people complained that I was posting my stories in the wrong categories to earn the most points.

Jesus!

It's like a runner in a race looking over his shoulder to see how close the competition is to him. I don't check anyone's scorecard. I don't care where they post their damn stories.

Not to beat a dead horse over what happened with last year's Survivor Contest, I just say that I wasn't treated well.

So...I hope we can have a great competition this year because I plan on writing my ass off.

Instead of complaining about me Boxlicker, you should be writing stories. In the time it took you to check my scorecard and complain, I already wrote and posted a story.

Good luck to you PrincessErin. You seem like a nice person.

Have a nice day.

Just wondering, Boxlicker, did you even read my story Villian of Black Valentine Day?

Now, why would you think that story belongs in the Humor Category and not in the Erotic Couplings where it was posted by...Laurel.

Originally, I had posted the story to Erotic Horror. Had you read the story, I believe you may have agreed with my original posting of the story Villian of Black Valentine's Day to erotic horror instead of erotic couplings where it was posted by...Laurel and not me.

Therefore, are you accusing Laurel of cheating on my behalf? Do you think that I am part of a Literotica cheating scandal that goes to the top and includes Laurel?

Do you believe that there was a second gunman at the Kennedy Assassination? Do you think that President Bush knew about 911 in advance? Do you think Marilyn Monroe was murdered and not a suicide? How long will I have to live?

Wow!

Please e-mail me so that I can send you my stories before I post them and you can tell me where to post them so that I can allay your fears that I am cheating.

I had no idea I was cheating. I thought I was just writing stories. I had no idea I was part of a cheating conspiracy.

Unfortunately, even if I did cheat last year, and I didn't, even if you moved all my stories around to other categories in a Literotica Survivor scramble, I'd still come in second place.

That kind of takes the wind out of your argument that I'm cheating, huh? Yet, if it makes you feel better to cry and whine that I'm cheating and if you insist that my story Villian of Black Valentine's Day should be moved from Erotic couplings where Laurel personally posted the story changing it from Erotic Horror, then please solicit management to post it to the Humor category where I will only need 2 more stories to earn 5 bonus points.

Thank you so much for looking out after me. You are a swell guy or are you a girl? I can't tell by your photo. Which one are you?

Have a nice day.

Unfucking believable.

I can't help but assume that you are referring to my story the Villian of Black Valentine's Day, the story that was posted to the Erotic Couplings category by Laurel and not me.

It is apparrent that I am not liked because I am not one of the "favored regulars".

Now, Ms. Hynde hints at disqualifying me for "blatant cheating attempt". Perhaps, if I didn't have a penis I'd be treated better.

I don't cheat. I have never cheated. If you or anyone feels that any of my stories should be moved to a different category, please feel free to move them. Move them all to Non-Erotic and Reviews and Essays for all I care and I'll still win this twisted contest.

It must really piss you off that I finished 2nd place last year, just as it will really piss you off that I will win it this year. Now, the only way to stop me is to disqualify me by calling me a cheater.

How can I be a cheater when I am telling you to move all my freakin stories wherever you like wherever it will give me the least amount of points? How is that cheating?

How dare you call me a cheater. How dare you!

I've read some of your posts about me to the forum pages and they have not been kind. I'm only here to write stories and continually I am forced to defend myself from the likes of you, Boxsucker, and Queen DaniellePussy and her entourage, along with the dozens and dozens of multiple identities that so many sicko people who pervade this site has.

I'll take you all on and will still write my stories and will still win this damn contest without cheating. I don't cheat. I am not a cheater.

Move my stories. Put them wherever. Having you move my stories to lower my score will, guess what, only make me write more stories.

I bet you that I can write 1,000 stories. How many points is that? So, move my stories. I don't care. I'll send you my stories before I post them and you can pick the category, just so that you can stop calling me a cheater.

You called me a cheater last year and here you are again calling me a cheater. You whackos have ruined my reputation on this board. You've poisoned the atmosphere with your pettiness, clicks, and multiple personalities.

This should be a welcoming environment to those who want to practice the craft of writing. Instead it is a grade school of babies and twisted personalities.

Are you afraid of me? Is that it? Is is that you can't beat me? So, you are the ones that have to cheat by calling me a cheater?

Please check with Laurel, as she is the one who posted my Villian of Black Valentine's Day contest story to the Erotic couplings category.

Instead of picking on me, why don't you call some of the other regulars who win every contest around here and give no one else a chance to win a contest? Why don't you pick on one of the "regular" who vote for one another?

I'm really tired of having to defend myself to you "whackos".

I think you owe me an apology.

By the way, Ms. Hyndes, had you read my story Villian of Black Valentine's Day, you would have realized that there is a sex scene in the story where he is receiving a blow job.

Now, maybe a blowjob is not sex to you because you prefer licking a pussy. That's your perrogative. I really don't give a shit what your sexual orientation is, but it really pissing me off when you constantly and continually call me a cheater.

What is your problem? Wait, don't tell me all of them, I'm not a psychologist. Besides, I don't have that kind of time. I'm too busy writing stories.

Perhaps, you and your entourage of regulars should return back to the drawing board and come up with another plan to discredit me because this one kind of backfired on you when I volunteered you to move any and all of my stories anywhere you want.

That kind of removes the cheating claim, huh?

Oh, I know, maybe you and a bunch of the other regulars can get together and write stories and post them under one name to beat me. How about that? That would be fun...again.

I must warn you though, you'll have to write way more than the couple hundred stories that beat me last year.

It's going to take, gee, I don't know, a thousand? Let's see, I've already written 100 stories so far, I'm sitting on another 200 stories to post, plus I still have 10 months to write more stories. Now, even if I only write 50 a month, that's 500 more. I should have at least 800 stories. How many points is that?

It won't matter which categories you want to post them in. Post them all to one category. Pick a category. Who cares? I don't.

Even if you posted all my stories to one category, I'd still win.

Now, do you see what you've done? You've ruined the contest for me. You've ruined my surprise.

I think you owe me an apology.

To paraphrase the Princess, BFW, knock off the hostility.

The only time I have ever complained about where somebody's story was posted, it was one of my own, as I mentioned to Lauren in a previous post. I haven't read the story you mentioned. I might, but I haven't yet.

I really can't understand why you are so hostile toward other writers, including Lauren. You displayed a lot of it last year too, and I never could figure out why.

BFW - You sound upset about what happened to you last year however no one used your name specifically and there are over 50 people participating in the contest so far. Maybe it was someone else's story that was in the wrong category. I know you got upset about last year's winner and how you believed him/her to be cheating. It sounds strange that you aren't excited that they are really paying attention to the rules.

I'm a high school teacher and this reminds me of when I ask my students to stop talking and those that aren't talking are quick to point out they aren't talking. I tell them if they aren't talking they aren't going to get in trouble. In this case if you aren't cheating don't worry you won't get in trouble.

I can be fiesty so I don't mind the hostility but this can definitely scare away new writers of which I am one, considering my first story was posted less then a month ago.
Erin

If new writers are scared off by one person blowing off steam, they'll never survive the more blunt public comments they're bound to receive.

But, methinks he doth protest too much.

I like public comments. Especially when I post a story in loving wives. It is so fun to see people comment on the morality of my story.

Erin

I think most people like public comments. We like the compliments, and the constructive criticism, and we also like to laugh at some of the insulting ones. I wrote one story, named "Little Mandy and Her Daddy" in the incest category. It was obviously a father-daughter incest story and one person, after reading it several times, she said, called me a sick pervert and expressed a hope that I never get near children. I would really miss my grandkids. :(

The PC on LW stories are often amusing too, and sometimes I wonder why people will read stories they know they are not going to like.

Take a chill pill, BFW. She wasn't talking about your story. If you actually bothered to check the dates before flying off the handle you would see that.

The post you quoted of Lauren's was made on January 9. Your Villian of Balck Valentine's Day was posted on January 21.

Boxlicker was talking about a story he had written being moved in category.

Why the sudden outburst?
