Day 5: A holiday movie you hate

Seconding and thirding(?) @RosewoodTulip and @UnquietDreams by picking Love Actually.

There's a special place in hell for anyone responsible for making horrifyingly bad movies that happen to have incredible casts. Watching one of them is like having the rug pulled out from under you again and again. "Emma Thompson, in this, it must be good - ow! Well, that storyline must be a fluke cos there's also Colin Firth - son of a bitch!" Oh, I hate this movie.
That is what is so horrible. Well, no, that is one thing that is so horrible: the fact they got this cast together is amazing! It makes it all that much worse.

Someone (hi @DannieB!) made the mistake of asking why I didn't like it, and I broke it down almost "relationship" by "relationship." It was excessive to post here, even for me, but I thought about it...

Oh, and the last line in this movie is a fucking fat joke about a woman.

I am ashamed and appalled at a number of you here today...i thought we were becoming friends, establishing relationships, and then several of you have to go and besmirch the good name of one of if not THE BEST holiday movies of all time...Love Actually is a masterpiece of connected story telling...it is filled with so many feel good dopamine moments that i just do not know what to say here without getting banned from lit...there is nothing that can even be done or said to this blasphemy and slander...

Well, that I am.

Day 6: A holiday movie from a foreign country (made in a country other than your own)

Sadly I can't pick Hot Frosty again because it was filmed a few hours from where I live in Brockville and Almonte, Ontario, so we'll go with this little British Chestnut.
