Flowers certainly lend themselves to interesting close-ups. This is inside a Foxglove that I've posted before

And this is of a Cosmos that I've just taken.

Your right. So many different ways to take pics of flowers. With the right lens, you can get that great macro shot like you did with your Foxglove pic and then you pull out, change the exposure a little and get a great in focus shot of the whole flower. Nice captures.
Love both of your pics, but really love that Foxglove pic.
