Anyone have any idea what this means? There was a story Temptation in Cornwall by an author Louise36uk. I've got it pinned in my to-read list, because I liked it and wanted to re-read it and comment. But now I get an error 403: forbidden. Search on stories still finds it, search on authors doesn't, but I don't recall this being the error for authors who had closed their accounts. (But that memory is unreliable.) It was a good and interesting story, quite normal, certainly didn't violate any standards. I'm pretty sure it wasn't her only story: I don't recall it as a first. Is this simply someone closing their account, or is there something odd here?

If the profile and story still exist, they may have been blocked by the site, as opposed to deleted, while they decide if that's necessary, or while they take the time to complete a requested deletion. I suppose it's possible someone reported the user as a plagiarist or for posting someone else's stories, and they felt the accusation was credible enough to lock things down while they wait for an explanation. But that's just a wild hypothesis.
