Having hit 71, I can assure you there is no going back. The key is to enjoy what you can do and don't worry about what you can't do. Also be willing to try something new. Getting old is not all bad but there are some disadvantages. I still get stiff pretty easily but it is the knees and back that are the first to respond.

Judging
I don't think anyone on here judges anyone else. Personally, I feel that you are the best, and only, one to judge yourself. If you feel it's not right **for you** that it's not something you should try. On the other hand, even if it's not right for you, that doesn't mean it's not right for someone else, and you shouldn't judge it so.

Older women
When I was 19 years old, I asked an older woman if she would have dinner with me one night. I found out later that she was 44 years old, but she certainly didn't appear to be out of her 30's, much less in her 40's. We actually dated a few times and wound up having sex many, many times.
