Well, I did it. My 750 word story, The Blowjob At The End Of The World was the monthly winner for February in the Humor and Satire category.
Some readers, not appreciating that stories are 750 words for a reason, can markdown and leave rude comments because the story is too short. Sigh.I feel that getting the top score in a very difficult category validates the whole notion of the 750 word story as more than just a gimmick.
Yes... Anyone want to create a thread? Is this competition happening again in 2023? Had sudden inspiration and wrote one quickly in one sitting (did go to bed at 1am on a work night though, ouch). If the event is on again early next year, I'll sit on it for a while, otherwise I'll just publish after editing.
Ok. Thanks. Thought I'd somehow missed it when I posted the question last night, but seems it was just added afterwards. I'll sit on my story then till February.Yes... Anyone want to create a thread?

The thread is actually from 2022.
It's confusing. Just keep repeating the link:The thread is actually from 2022.
I have one that's missing. My Two Angels in the Morning story isn't listed. Or if it is, I didn't find it. Not that it matters; I had six tales. To avoid fainting, keep repeating 'It's only a 750-Word Challenge.
