Well, I did it. My 750 word story, The Blowjob At The End Of The World was the monthly winner for February in the Humor and Satire category.

I’m liking the 750 word category more and more. I guess I’m anti-commitment nowadays on spending days and weeks on stories.

Some readers, not appreciating that stories are 750 words for a reason, can markdown and leave rude comments because the story is too short. Sigh.

I didn't enter this time. I have done 15 x 50 words = 750 words, several times and one specific 750-word story Saint Sioned, but my writing time is so limited I gave the contest a miss.

Is this competition happening again in 2023? Had sudden inspiration and wrote one quickly in one sitting (did go to bed at 1am on a work night though, ouch). If the event is on again early next year, I'll sit on it for a while, otherwise I'll just publish after editing.
