8th Circuit Appeals Court Rules Against Gender Pronouns

I'm upset that some nouns are making huge bux just 'cuz they went pro. What about all the ordinary and amateur nouns out there? Don't they deserve a seat on the capitalization train too?
*rimshot*. :)

Can anyone explain:

Why is it anyone’s business to know what’s in someone else’s pants unless they are going to be intimately involved?

Why rights to privacy in person and papers shouldn’t apply to gender?

The Democratic Party’s platform isn’t built on policy anymore, it’s built on the multiverse, where every failure is a success and every fact is optional. To them the truth is a form of hate speech.
You're wrong, but it's significant that you've started using the Democratic Party's correct name. Baby steps ... .

I saw a college application a decent while ago and the pronouns did get a bit out of hand. Then again, I’m not a member of the community that is affected so what do I know. Same goes for comments AA folk see as racist and I don’t necessarily see it.

How is that question relevant?

Update: An earlier version of this story incorrectly attributed the appeals court decision. The headlines and some wording in the story have been updated to comply with USA Today Co. style.

The U.S. 6th Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled that a central Ohio school district cannot punish students who identify transgender students by their 'biological pronouns,' citing concerns over free speech and discrimination over certain viewpoints.

In a 10-7 decision issued Nov. 6, the court's majority ruled that Olentangy Local Schools did not demonstrate that the use of the pronouns to refer to transgender and nonbinary students would "materially and substantially disrupt school activities or infringe on the legal rights of others in the school community."

It's about reality

Wonder if they can force schools to install 10 commandments, name things for Charlie Kirk, etc.

How is that question relevant?

Using gendered pronouns requires the speaker to determine what someone else’s gender is.

How much right does someone have to know about another person’s body and how does that fit with the 4th amendment’s protection of a reasonable expectation of privacy?

Wearing a kilt can be fun when I see “the question” in people’s eyes. It’s usually groups who are drinking or older women who actually ask what I’m wearing underneath.

My regular response is “What would you recommend?”

No one was ever more curious than the first time I cross dressed (as an adult) for the day, wearing my girlfriend’s cheerleader uniform for a Friday at school my senior year for the powderpuff football game.

It was mostly masculine guys who kept lifting my skirt to check out the bodysuit and bloomers I was wearing. One jock who’d always had a mad crush on my GF spanked me in front of everyone at the afternoon rally. 😳😮

A lot of people called me by female pronouns for the rest of the school year. 😜

Forced speech is forced speech. That should have been the end of the discussion everywhere but somehow it's not.

What's also hard to fathom is why the Left is insisting on making outright lying a socially acceptable thing.
Great point. The government t shouldn’t be able to force someone to call someone a name they don’t want to.

If someone is in court they should be able to address the judge as “Captain Dickweed” if they want to. Also, those in the military should be able to call their CO anything they like.

a central Ohio school district cannot punish students who identify transgender students by their 'biological pronouns...
Therefore the students can use their preferred pronouns without being punished by the bigots.

Sounds good.
