Maddie had yet to go to the library, so she would need some help getting there. She pulled herself up and moved forward, almost like she was sleepwalking. She almost slipped, it would have been a bad spill, but she caught herself. She stuck her head out and looked down at the floor, seeming to refuse matching eyes with Ellandril. She knew she was but now a beaten slave, she didn't want to see his pity for her.
"Yes, please, lead me," Maddie said simply.
As she slowly walked forward Everly would just over hear the two of them, sounding like light mumbling. He found himself naked and in a room just like Maddie's, just down a short tunnel from her own. He pulled himself up and kept silent, moving forward to look out into a dark catacombs before him. He could see Maddie and Ellandril just as they started to leave. He suspected trying to escape would be hopeless so felt the first course of action was to talk to Maddie and the being with her. At least they would know what they were doing. Though he refused to speak up, he was terrified of catching a dragon's attention. He quickly darted over to the two, slipping himself and kicking over some rocks. He cursed on doing so, feeling like a blasted fool.
