A Great Howl Just Went Up On The Left

And two more questions:

1. What question were people asked?

and

2 How were those participating selected? Perhaps they were all registered Republicans?

All true, and especially important when looking at a single poll in isolation. When you see multiple polls from reputable firms all pointing in the same direction, they’re usually a good indicator of what to expect when the ballots are counted. It’s a sure bet that the VA governors race is razor close. Something nobody expected as recently as a couple months ago. 2022 is a year away, things could change, but based on historical midterms, redistricting maps, electoral demographics, and the president’s abysmal public approval ratings, we can all feel good about the outlook.

The talking filibuster should be established requiring 41 of the minority party to hold the floor would fix that while still allowing the check.

There is something grotesque in allowing what amounts to an endurance contest into the legislative process. There was a time when Southern senators could filibuster civil rights legislation by standing up and reading from a telephone book for hours on end. That should not be part of the process.

Bullshit. You're making Senators have more at stake than a thumbs up or down. If they can't be on vacation or have freedom of leaving...they're more likely to work towards compromise.

That process ensures that they have skin in the game and aren't just obstructing for political bullshit

And now I'm really done. We've already discussed this....feel free to browse my previous comments on the matter.

But, you're talking about finding a way of "allowing the check" when we don't need such a check in the system at all.

It is about a poll conducted when ALL polls would show a government is unpopular. No poll conducted at this time in an administration is going to be favourable to the government (in any country) so taking a poll now is a waste of effort and has no statistical relevance to what will happen at the next election.

It is rubbish, and the pollsters should know that.

That isn't quite accurate Ogg. Bush's popularity at about the same time as now was around 90%:

We gave that up upon entering elementary school actually. Gave it up again if you joined the military and I don't really see why any particular profession should be treated as "freer" than the people literally putting their lives on the line for our "freedom".

That's because you're poorly educated and too weak willed to support the responsibilities of individual freedom. In short, you'd rather be a serf living at the direction of others.

The Biden administration's performance in the federal end of handling disasters and the pandemic has been 3,000 percent better than the Trump's poor excuse for an administration was (and Trump's plan for Afghanistan was to leave far earlier and on only one day, guaranteeing fewer people and less equipment being evacuated). The shortfall in the Biden administration's ability to delivered promised legislation lies at the feet of (A) those voters who didn't give him a workable majority, and (B) the stonewalling Republicans (and Democrats) who won't even negotiate compromises. This issue does not lay at the feet of the Biden administration.

Those voting or responding to polls who don't/can't understand that are dumber than sheep and deserve not to get what the Biden administration is trying to provide for them--and that the Trump people never even tried.

This is laughingly delusional.

So, Republican Jesus - a non-candidate about whom people can literally believe whatever they want - gets them a lead that's probably within the margin of error, a year out from the elections? Yeah, I'm not losing any sleep over that.

If the situation were reversed you'd be howling your joy like a big puppy.

None of that is delusional. It's 100% true and you know it.

RG’s finger on the pulse with a Brietbart article leading with a repub run poll that shockingly finds anti democrat results!

Better than you with one finger in the air and the other up your butt.

Democrats protested and challenged both Bush elections, and the Trump election. So when they condemn our efforts in challenging elections, do give them the big double middle finger in response.

Apples and oranges.
2000: we now know more Florida voters voted or tried to vote for Gore than for Bush. I can't think of any reason why we shouldn't have fought back.
2004: Dems did challenge Ohio's electoral votes, but the challenge failed and that was that. They didn't spend the next year whining about it, and there certainly wasn't any equivalent of 1/6.
2016: The Mueller report speaks for itself (and it doesn't say what you insist on believing it says).

Poll: Voters Have ‘Biden Remorse,’ Republicans Lead in 85 Battleground Congressional Districts

KATHERINE HAMILTON26 Oct 2021

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) released a Democrat-damning poll report on Tuesday, showing the GOP leading on the generic ballot in 85 battleground congressional districts, 43 percent to 40 percent.

“It is not just that the Biden honeymoon is over. Voters are now having “Biden Remorse” due to Democrats’ incompetence,” according to the report, which was conducted October 16-21, 2021, among 1,000 voters.

President Joe Biden’s overall approval has flipped from 51 percent approve –45 percent disapprove in July to 45 percent approve – 51 percent disapprove in October. According to the report, the shift in approval is “almost entirely coming from independent voters,” a segment which played a pivotal role in getting him elected. Thirty-nine percent of independents approve and 54 percent disapprove of Biden’s performance, the report states.

Many of the groups that powered Biden to the presidency have now soured on him, as he is underwater with Hispanics (-5 percent) and college-educated white voters (-3 percent). A majority of voters (53 percent) do not believe Joe Biden is competently running the country. Among independents, 62 percent do not believe Biden is competent.

Republicans now lead across 85 battleground congressional districts “as a result of Democrats’ incompetence,” according to the report, which found that the GOP is leading with independents by eight percent (35 percent GOP – 27 percent Democrat). Republicans have also swayed college-educated white voters who supported Biden in 2o2o by 3 percent (44 percent GOP – 41 percent Democrat). Furthermore, Republicans continue to gain ground with Hispanic voters — the generic ballot in battleground districts shows Republicans and Democrats tied 42 percent to 42 percent in this demographic.

“Republicans have a decisive advantage on the issues most important to voters,” according to the poll.

LOL! The LIBTARDS don’t stand a chance unless they cheat again!

"Again"? Even you know there's no evidence at all that they cheated before. None. Zero. It's been investigated to death and there's no there there.

You do realise that early in any democratic government, the elected party is going to be down in the polls, don't you? A new adminsiutarion will schedule all its unpopular legislation then.

It is what happens when the election is near that matters. Any polls before that are just bullshit or wishful thinking..

Just STFU! Worry about the Queen shot-staining her bloomers and ask yourself, “ why TF did Hairy move to the United States?” Answer: He hates your pathetic little island as much as most Americans do! Go fuck yourself and your “opinions” on America! We don’t give AF what you think, asshole!

BiDude wetting himself. The post you object to was a general statement, not about the US. You are so sensitive about your pathetic lies you are wetting yourself.

No poll at this stage in an administration proves anything at all.

That’s an outlier, and reflected Bush’s immediate response to 9/11. Once news about the 8/6 daily brief came out, his ratings dropped.

Obama was 53% with a solid net positive. Biden is underwater and sinking like a stone.
