A Married Man Alone
I was married for ten years, to a beautiful, talented, fairly intelligent woman. She was everything I'd wanted, but in the last few years, she was always away on business trips. She went to nearly every city in North America, across Europe, even a couple Asian cities. I'd had suspicions about it, especially when I noticed that all the trips were with the same, one man, who she frequently worked with, and whom I'd never met.
Either way, she was gone eight months out of the year, and I was alone. I would never have cheated on her, and I stayed faithful, never pursuing other women. This time, though, the woman was actually pursuing me, and I had a hard time saying no.
She was, like my wife, a complete knockout, but in a different way. I could tell that she was interested in me, and it was kind of a turn on, just holding her at bay. I kept reminding her that I was married, and she would make cute comments about her never being around.
Truth be told, I let her joke, even encouraged it. It was nice to have a little female company, especially someone who made me feel... sexy.
The first day it happened, we were the last two in the office, cleaning up, and I had just turned out the lights. There was still some evening sunlight coming in through the windows when she stepped into my office. She looked sensual and soft in the orange-yellow light.
She knew I was going to an empty home, and I was secretly wishing I could take her home.
"I'm sorry," I shook my head, smiling. "I'm a little distracted today... what was that again?"
