So, Nailing the Hot Teacher was publshed 3 days ago, so this is a great time for the review. I must say, I was quite excited for this story - given how good Flirting with the Visitor was and that a new kink was about to be explored - but did it live to the expectations? (Mild spoilers, the big one marked as one.)
My very first contact with the work was overly positive. Firstly, we meet Emily and it turns out... she's blue-eyed blonde! In my world, it's a synonym for beauty . And she even wears glasses! (Sadly, only sometimes - and not during sex.) Secondly, we meet Cody and although Cody is... is, his friends are a fun bunch and for me, another good influence from RLD. Especially Georgia, who is, finally, a girl with a personality in Shorehaven. I so hope she'll get her own story some day, she deserves a good railing for being awesome.

Then, the main duo starts interacting and it's... just... BAD. Foremost, Emily rubs me as someone who is, not gonna lie, really stupid and I wonder how did she secured herself a teching job. Her lessons is like her asking the simpliest questions, to which Cody provides the simplest answers, and she's like "oh my gosh, Cody, you're so insightful!" At the same time, her being playful and laid-back reads like a woman in her 30s who tries the hardest for teenagers to like her because she cannot accept her age. Cody isn't much better, though, because the only thing he does is smiling like a fool at cheese (Polish proverb). His game isn't good as well (as evidenced by how she convinces Emily to have sex with him - in short, he's not even aware when the seduction succeeds), and the whole flirting is just awkward - at this point, I was facepalming a lot. The guy, however, has two redeeming qualities. The first is that his crush on Emily is genuine and too bad it wasn't explored further later. The second is all the moments when he's vulnerable, worrying if he's gonna pass his exams - it gave him some depth. But ultimately, I could fully understand why Elliot is so irritaded by him.

So at this point I was imagining myself giving a very negative review. In fact, I didn't even want to read about Cody and Emily. I wish I instead read about Cody and Georgia, because they had some flirting earlier on and it was more interesting. Or about Elliot and Emily, how they fell in love those 7+ years ago and how they worked about their differences. But then, Emily sees Cody under shower... and it FINALLY clicks. This is where this story really started for me. Suddenly, I had a horny woman lusting for a young stud, not able to get his big dick from her mind - and I liked it! From there, it all quickened and they began fooling around akin to Melody and Lincoln. I honestly would like this section to be a little longer and more detailed, but ultimately it lead to sex and this is what we really want, right?

TBH I won't go into details of the sex scenes, because after 20 years, we all know what to expect from Shadow in that department, and we know that he won't go below certain level. So I'm just gonna mark the highest and lowest points... Oh wait, there is no lowest points. It's all good Except the blowjob - I don't need 4 pages of it. Just kidding. Long blowjobs just aren't my thing, but it's not like I have something against them, this one included. First time deepthroat is ever fun.

So first and foremost, the main sex scene takes place in a classroom and I wouldn't have it any other way. Come on, they're a teacher and a student, fucking in any other place substracts from a taboo. And there was a risk they would do it in Emily's house, luckily my fear didn't became their reality. Except, there is a piece of dialogue when Cody says something like "it would be hotter if we were fucking at your house." Seriously, Cody? You were supposed to be the wild one! On a good note, it needs to be noticed that during their sex, Emily and Cody stay in their roles as a teacher and a student - he never calls her by her first name (but still calls her a slut, obviously).

Another highlight for me was that during the entire sex, Emily was partially clothed - she had her dress and even her bra on. Sure, her tits still get a lot of attention, but they being clothed it was something I didn't expect from a boob-man like Shadow - but I fully support him trying new/doing rare things with his writing. Especially as I think having sex with some clothes on is really hot. The scene also sees a return of beloved tropes like cheating while being on a phone with a loved one or fucking against a door (damn, if I was sexually active and in a great physical shape, I would be spending a lot of money on doors; for once it's a good thing I'm neither). And one beloved trope that we earlier saw only in Valestock, I think - see the spoiler below if you're ok with them, because I have more to say about this one.

At one point during their sex, Cody leads Emily to the OPEN window and fucks her from behind, even pushing her upper body to hang outside. Then, they scream their NAMES and everybody can see the student Cody Grey fucking the teacher Mrs Emily Larson, knowing full well she's married to another teacher at the same school. It was hot, but truly, I'd prefer at least Emily to not reveal who she is so the others would just see Cody fucking some sexy blonde. Especially as the further story runs like it was what happened - somehow, the next day no one among Cody's friends or even his class knows about the illicit sex happening a day before in their very school. Sure, I know it's Shorehaven, they're not snitches, but still, I would expect for everyone know right away (except for Elliot, of course).

Anyway, the first sex scene ends with Cody cumming inside Emily (ups, spoiler) after giving her five orgasms. It's also pretty new for Shadow; it was typical for his female characters to get multiple orgasm, but it was usually fewer than that. Same with spots and positions, because there's four of the latter in my opinion. I must say, I like this shift very much, life of fictional characters is too short to not fuck for hours. Back to the story though, a little later we're getting a short marathon ('shortathon') of Emily and Cody fucking around the school (in a gym and a parking lot - hot, but made me think if they really had no classes at the time).

And then there's the second sex scene, this time in Emily's (and Elliot's) house, namely lounge, kitchen and bed. Here, my most favorite part is a titfuck Emily gives Cody - it's the first time something like that happens in Shadow's work, and once again I have to congratulate him for doing new things. The whole sex scene, though, seems a little rushed. Like if the author wanted to write more sex, but didn't want the story to become too long, so he ended up somewhere in the middle and of worse quality than the one before (still ok, but worse than what we've got earlier in the same work). Foremost, the lover's sex when Elliot returned home was practically just a mention, and not a huge thing it should be. But there is also a value in this section, because I'm always interested with what happens after the initial fuck, and here I know, even if only a little.

After the second sex scene we're getting an outro and then the story ends with "---The End?---" And, man, there SHOULD be a follow up, because we were left with many open questions. Like, what about Emily's glow-up? Is this a sign of her being pregnant, or is there something else at play? (After all, Shadow said that he wants to explore supernatural themes in Shorehaven as well.) What's with Georgia's acting a little weird? Did she just suspect the two had sex before knowing it, or does she carry some secrets on her own? Finally, what's gonna happen on the school trip? Would Cody and Emily spend the week together, or will they find new people to fuck as well? And, once again, I want Georgia's fic, the girl is one of my fav women in Shorehaven.

To summarize, I think Nailing the Hot Teacher is for sure worth reading, but I wouldn't count it among Shadow's best. It's a decent story and contains fun sex, but the first 13 pages or so (about 33%) were difficult to read and impossible to feel interested. On the other hand, when it'd become good, I didn't stop until I finished it at 2AM. So, nice work, Shadow. Write more

PS. In the whole discussion about if Shorehaven stories are realistic or not, I don't believe anyone cheating on her husband would allow her 18 yo lover to film their sex. On the other hand, Emily is not very bright, so who knows.

PS2. Once again: why the fuck anyone having a girlfriend/fiancee/wife even stays in Shorehaven? It's known for its illicit sex! Yep, I know that it's always "It may happen to my friends and coworkers, but not to me, right? After all, MY girl REALLY loves me with ALL her heart, not like all those cheating sluts."

I quite like some of his stuff, but 139-thousand words is pretty crazy for Literotica. Most novels aren't that long. And there's no incest in it (as far as I'm aware), so I'll be giving this a miss.

I think something that long-unless its a contest entry and has to be a standalone story-should be done in chapters to make it less intimidating for readers.

In addition, they posted this in LW, so that's a lot of work to be trashed by the trolls there who lose their mind when make believe married women have extra marital sex.

Being its a student/teacher piece I'd have put it in mature and played up the age gap more than the married aspect and gotten a better reception.

I think Lit has room for stories of all shapes, sizes, and styles, and if readers do not find long stories their kind of thing then they don't have to read them. There are many others who prefer longer stories and who aren't catered to by those who stick to shorter stories.

I don't really pay much attention to the rating of a story - Lit's rating system is just about personal preference, when it isn't just blatantly misused - so if people want to down vote a story because it is long, or in Loving Wives when it is a woman cheating story, that is up to them. Doesn't really matter to me. I write for myself and those who want to read my stories, not everyone.

I published in LW because it fit the cheating wife side of my story that I was going for mostly, and I didn't really see Emily as mature as she was just out of her 20s. Let them trash it if they want, won't stop me posting my stories there. I won't let trolls dictate what can and can't be posted in a category or tell me what I can and can't write/publish. I expect my work to be trashed by LW/BtB wishers/Length-haters, but it is where it belongs for viewers who want to find it and will like it. That it has crawled from below a 2.5 to a 3.4 already shows people do enjoy it.
