He was on a stage, it was not familiar, but the people were screaming his name as he played. Eden's voice came over the speakers, soft and melodic, melting into the music. The crowd was . . . human. They all smelled like blood and he could hear their heartbeats over the music. He could feel the need to feed, he was not ready for this amount of humanity, the beast was thirsty . . . but it always had been there. The older he had become, the more he learned to control it. The control was not a fight, it was a co-existence.
The stage changed, and turned into a meadow, with soft grass, and a pleasantly warm breeze. Eden was there with him, this was the first time they had kissed and in his dream, he smiled.
He shifted around a few times in his sleep and woke up when the bus came to a stop. Feeling a bit bleary, he looked around, remembered where they were, and noticed that the sun was busy setting. He got up out of his seat and stretched as best he could, his back cracking as he yawned softly.
The trip down the back of the bus did not take too long, but by the time he returned, he had a good idea of the layout, and of course, Eden was awake. He smiled when he saw her open eyes, "Hey there pretty lady."
He chuckled and started to slip out of his clothing, he knew that the others heard them and also knew that they were turning a blind eye as long as it didn't endanger the family. And he was quite sure that having a shower with his beautiful soul partner was way up on the list of things not dangerous. Well unless they lose control and the shower actually gets broken.
