Aang tossed and turned in his bed much as he had the nights before the assault on the fire kingdom. During those times, he had nightmares of his defeat and demise, or dreams of his feelings for Katara. However, his feelings no longer were for Katara, nor were his dreams about her. He fantasized about Toph, dreaming of being and laying with her in bed. It invaded his dreams almost every night.
Ever since he had healed her in ways he couldn't ever fathom, things had been different between the two of them. Aang had brought vision back to Toph, and in return he developed feelings that kept him awake at night. Even so, he wouldn't have it any other way, his nature was to help despite what happened to him.
The worst part of this was that they lived in the same palace, along with Katara and Sokka. Their bed chambers were only down a few halls from each other. He dreamed of just going into her room and taking her. Aang sat up, rubbing his eyes groggily. He rolled out of his bed, sliding on a pair of pants before walking the halls. His pace slowed as he passed Toph's room, looking over and seeing nothing but the darkness.
