Sailing Together


My love sails with me
Across the ocean of dreams,
Sails filled with desires.

Seeking foreign lands
And wild and exotic shores;

An adventure shared,
That ebbs and flows as the waves
Crashing on the shore...

If you have not read this silly little romp, or if you read it in a hurry the first time without bothering to click the links for the sound effects or the musical accompaniment offered with some of the posts, may we suggest you do so now in the tail end of winter (gray and cold in many parts of North America). With a lot of effort, mostly by Mr T, all of the links now work better than ever, and should be stable in perpetuity. The music selections no longer require you to also open youtube.

It has been a year since we completed this goofy romance (one of the things we were going for here was to see just how outrageously goofy and corny we could make it). We are immensely gratified that folks seem to keep finding this thread are are still reading it. Thank you. We had imagined that some of the things that we tried here with this thread - images paired with a story, and sound effects too - might inspire some other creative litsters to try something similar. So far, our effort seems to be singular on the PG.

To anyone who finds this thread and enjoys it - please do so, as Mr T says, with our compliments.
