Lol, I wouldn't know an active verb from a gerund. Your welcome to rewrite it if you want to. I like your version much better. I'm more likely to just delete it. That's what I do with pretty much everything I write.

aw, now that's a shame! sometimes, you know, it really helps to do the rewrites, keeping each version (at least for a while) to a) keep the original thoughts/what drove the write fresh, and b) to be able to look back and see the developments take place... see how they have changed things... see if the changes are right or if you should backtrack to an earlier version. that kinda stuff

lol - if its says something worth saying and is at all poetic, then why not? if we've got 3 word and 5 word pomms, why not one-liners?

I have a picture. Interesting thing about the town of Saló. I recently posted an illustrated poem, but really didn't do justice to the cruel history of the town. I was overwhelmed by its beauty and forgot the history. Maybe others can write more interesting things with the image
