Any one know how to reboot a cd drive.

I went to run the sims, which has worked on this comp before and it din't read it. From there I noticed it won't run cds, dvds, or music cds. So very clearly a problem.

Basicly I need to reinstal the drivers, or that is where I'd begin. Just I don't recall how to do that.

I wouldn't reinstall the drivers just yet. There is potential to mess things up even more.
