An elderly gentleman had serious hearing problems for a number
of years. He went to the doctor and the doctor was able to have
him fitted for a set of hearing aids that allowed the gentleman to
hear 100%. The elderly gentleman went back in a month to the
doctor and the doctor said, "Your hearing is perfect. Your family
must be really pleased that you can hear again." The gentleman
replied, "Oh, I haven't told my family yet. I just sit around and
listen to their conversations. I've changed my will three times!"

Seems everybody was "out" in some way last night....

Neither of my friends was available so I passed "out" reading Eyes of Prey by John Sandford... musta been why I dreamed like a mad woman and woke up too many times to count!! Seems no matter how much I sleep, I don't get any rest anymore! *sigh*

No phone call... *wry smile*

Hope your dad is doing well, Ash... keeping him in my prayers along with the family!

- just got off the phone with Ash, her father is not as bad off now as they feared... the cancer does not show up in the bone marrow at all and they are able to treat and have begun today
he does still have some serious health problems with his immune system and is by no means 'out of the woods' but certainly better than feared
- she wanted me to tell our friends , and thanks for continued prayers
