All her life well for most of her life anyway Jasmine Thomas knew what and who and why she was born into the world sure she had a loving family a mother who loved her a amazing little sister and friends that were just like her family yet she also had a secret, a secret that could kill the people she loved the most, a secret that could kill her, she was 18 years of age and had been a vampire slayer since the age of 14 years old she was one of the oldest slayers and the strongest, her watcher was the only one who knew of her abilities of her secrets and he had become a father to her as of late.. and she as well had to protect him also.. he taught her everything she knew and she trained with him almost every night... she had no love life and she wished she could tell her friends the truth and eventually she would. She wanted nothing more than to live a long and happy life but she did not see that happening... at least the live life part anyway she was a fighter and loved protecting the world from the vampires and the demons in the world and they were there, yet she would never see herself falling in love cause she always worried about the fact that if she did get involved she would get him killed.

Jasmine had no idea that the man she would meet and fall in love with would be what she fighted and loathed worse in the world, and that was a vampire himself.. yet he would be a vampire with a soul... yet there could never be anything between them one he was a vampire and she was a slayer, two given the fact if they were to ever make love it would change things forever cause she had no idea what his past would be and that he was the most vicious vampire out there before he got his soul back.

With his shabby clothing (sometimes little more than rags) and unkempt nature, Lukas could be any age in appearance. However, his deep brown eyes speak of an inner strength, even before he changed.

Beneath his tunic, rags and kilt, his body also carries various scars from blades and animal attacks. Though his body can heal injuries, he keeps the scars from the toughest battles as a reminder of hard-won victories and survival against the odds...the events which have taught him the most about life and unlife.

Possessing a tall build and strength even before becoming a vampire, Lukas' undeath added agility and speed to his movements as well. He is often mistaken for a wild animal by people passing through his territories in the mountains.

Born into poverty and tormented as a child, Lukas was taken in by a religious organisation and trained as a scholar, where he felt happy and safe from the stark world. Although he was not particularly religious, he understood why people turned to it and wondered if it might happen to him one day.
However, when their chapter-house was burned to the ground by barbarians, the young man who became Lukas fled across the seas and into the mountains, taking what few works he could carry or steal along the way.
With the remains of the society that he knew far behind him -and being unknown by the one he had come to- he quickly learnt to fight against animals and humans of this new land in order to survive.
However, there was one tall stranger who plagued him...a foe even he could not tame...and he awoke in his cave the next night, battered and bruised as a vampire. Whilst the one who had created him still slept, he killed him and drank their remaining blood, further increasing his powers, unable to resist it's lure, yet knowing it was exceedingly wrong to do so.

Left to his own devices, he tries to keep his true nature a secret...only feeding when he has to...yet when he does feed, he rarely shows restraint and always kills his prey. To other vampires, he is an unknown quantity: Could he be useful in their power-struggles against each other? Or should he be killed to stop him allying with another faction? Most just ignore him and regard his domain as 'off-limits' trying to stay out of his way, or think he is of no consequence to their games...yet few people (and even fewer of his kind) have ever tried to talk to him.

Though he knows little about modern technology such as computers, he steals books and other items when he can, so he has kept a keen intellect, but his initial appearance is that of a feral vampire, unschooled and loose upon the world. This mystery has helped him to keep a low profile throughout the years.

Having been born centuries earlier, Lukas had virtually forgotten what it was to be human. However, it was all brought flooding back to him during a hunt one night...

Jasmine

Jasmines trainer and watcher had wanted to come patrol with her but she told him no, to g be with his wife and children, she had this he worried over her so and protected her and watched her and trained her to the best of his abilities he was not a fighter but he did know magic so often he could help her in that sense, he had saved her life once when a witch had cast a spell over her in school, he thought she was a goner but a spell he created broke the one that was cast upon her.

Jasmine was so lonely in the world no matter how many people she had around her she still had a empytiness about her that for the most part she had hidden well, noone not even her mother knew what she yearned for, what she longed for but never could or would have... love.. a love of a man... a love that could touch her all the way to her soul. She sat on a tomb stone in the grave yard her stake in hand waiting for the new rising vampires...

She sighed to herself.. she knew she was destined to die... yet she had no idea when or how if it would hurt, if it would be a demon or a vampire.. but that was her life.. and she could not walk away from it, it was her destiny since she was born after all.

She heard leaves shift and jumped from the tomb stone ready for a fight.
