A Thread for Avatar Issues.

Well! This avatar looks like me! I had the letter 'D' before this for a long long long time, weeks. Curiously, this was the avatar that appeared on my content side of Lit. Now! that spot has a blank white hole. zip. nada. nothing!

Should I be pleased, the change took place? 50% pleased or 50% displeased the other side disappears without my actions? Me thinks, I'll just take a seat under the apple tree and wait to see what falls next.

Forgot to say, "Thanks" Also got two of my EDITED stories posted in the last two days! Just three EDITs more to go and the 'Rescuing a Snow Angel' series will be much better polished, corrected, and make me a slap happy pappy!

FYI those posts for EDITS seem to be taking about two weeks as well.

Interesting. My avatar here is fine, but as with you, my avatar in the content side is vacant. We seem to be getting no answers from those who run what is an excellent site, so that seat under the Apple tree will be a crowded place

It was a couple weeks, but I went to the playground and played games to get me a 100 posts just in case it was still a rule.
I have been here on Lit since 2020 but only had 30 posts.

I finally got my avatar. It took about 5 days and I this is only my second post. Good thing they no longer have the 100 post rule!

So, I made a test and it seems the issue with the AV has been solved.
I uploaded the new one last night around 11 pm and it appeared today in the afternoon.

I still don't get the "approval" period. But at least it's a short time and it works.

I tried several times to change mine and when it brought up my gallery the site and chrome closes down.
I seemingly am stuck with a loaf of bread as my avatar.

Both sides of the system have my avatar now. As others have noted, the progress is good and speed of change seems much better. Now, if we had some butter for that loaf of bread that the English guy got stuck with...things would really be much better. Ok,back to that old adage...try, try, and try again, dear fellow!
