A Vampire's kiss...

Rose

Rose sighed and started packing a couple of bags. Food, portable stove, clothes...She pulled a pet carrier out and rouned up Patches. Coming out she was loaded. Still, better safe then sorry. She handed a bag to Gary, shifting her own to one shoulder.

"We need to drop Patches off at the Docs, he'll take care of her..." Rose said nothing else as she quietly led the way. The doctor gladly took the cat, looking delighted to see it. He nodded as Rose explained briefly what happened.

"So you'll lay low for a bit?" he asked.

"Yeah...Until...Well, untill Gary adjusts and/or she moves on..." Rose glanced around, noticing the way his gaze fixed on the doctors throat. She said her good-byes, pulling Gary away.

"The hunger..." she began hesitantly. "You have to fight it...It gets easier."

She led him on till they stood in front of a tall building. The doors were blocked and crumbling. She sighed and refusing to meet Gary's eyes spoke.

"I'm taking us to the top, unless the vamp is a decade or two old it'd be hard to get to the upper levels here...To get us to the top I have to change, don't...just don't..." she trailed off and began to undress, ignoring the odd look Gary gave her and stuffed her things in her bag. She handed the bag to Gary. Closing her eyes she willed the change.

She heard herself scream as her bones shifted, changing shape and form. Her muscles screamed in pain. Wings sprouted in a burst and her body changed to match them until she was a half bat. She pumped her wings and launched upward, swooping and grabbing Gary.

He screamed, he screamed fro his life. The huge bat swept him up, taking the air out of his lungs. Gary had to stop, take in a breath, and then scream again. HE screamed until they were at the top. She let him go.
Gary dropped, running for the edge. He didn't want to be anywhere near her. Tears swelled up in his eyes, for a moment he thought she was going to eat her. She would just gobble her up.
She waa human again, and her clothes were back on. She knelt next to him, "Gary... I."
"Don't, don't be near me, and don't touch me."
She seemed hurt by this, and walked off. Gary followed her, but at a safe distance.
A nice penthouse made their new home. Gary put everything away, as much as he could, then went to sleep. He hadn't had any sleep last night, well only while he was dealing wth unconscience, but still.
Rose startled him, "Would you like something to eat?"
He stepped away from her, "No, I am fine. Thank you."
She seemed to sigh, and then stormed off.
Gary couldn't tell is she was a woman or a monster anymore. this morning he could tell, he could see, but now... he didn't know.
Gary wrapped around a warm blanket, and fell asleep on the couch. He didn't dream.

Rose

Rose sighed. She was stupid. Plain and simple. She thought...What that he would understand? How could she have been so stupid? He'd learn to deal, then leave. What else could he do? She'd seen the way he looked at her. The disgust...

Rose looked over at his sleeping form from her window perch. So why did she do it? Why keep throwing herself at him like a pityful, stupid kid. Because she loved him. It hurt, but it was true.

She couldn't let it effect her anymore though. Wiping her tears away, she carefully blanked her face. No more. He was hungry, that she knew, she always was... With a sigh she went to look for the generator. It powered the place and she could get a hot meal for him at least.

Setting the the bowl of food on the coffee table a few hours later, she flicked on the light and sat a cup of water down too. She woke him silently, before walking away.

The first thing he noticed when he woke up, was the lights. There were lights, which meant there was...
"Electricity."
It all made sense now. It was just a bad dream, he wasn't any half vampire, he had just had a long nightmare, and now he was back in his hotel room. He screamed in triumph, it was over, all of it, over.
"Is something wrong?"
His mother. Was she really here? Gary jumped off the couch, running to her.
He stopped, no... it wasn't her. It was.
"Hello Rose," He said, flatly.
"I made you soup."
His heart fell in his chest. It was all true, even the monster part. He was a monster. Did monster's eat soup? He didn't know.
"I'm not hungry."
She looked at him, the way a mother would if their child said he didn't want to eat his beans.
"Come on, you haven't eaten in days. Take it, and eat."
Gary sat down. He looked at the soup, could there be something in there? Poison? sleeping pill? or worse... blood?
Gary shuttered, no she wouldn't do that, would she?
He didn't have an answer to that.
Gary took a wary bite, it wasn't bad. He ate helf of it, before putting it down, and walking out to the bacony. The night air refreshing his lungs.
HE remembered travelling alone. Being by yourself there weren't many arguements, and even fewer fights. Since he had lived with this girl, he had nothing but one firght, after another.
He chuckled, they sounded like a married couple.
"But married couples love each other."
He spoke it aloud, but even he was startled by the words.
"What was that?"
Rose moved beside him, Gary tried to take a step away, but the balcony wasn't that big.
"I.. ummm, nothing, I was just watching the moon."
"Oh, beautiful."
He nodded, it ws lmost romantic in a way. He sighed deeply.

Rose

Rose sighed as she looked at the moon. She cast a glance at Gary who was trying to get farther away and let a silent tear trickle down her cheek. Then her face hardened and she turned, walking back inside.

She quietly began sorting out a few small things which she threw in her pack. She found the spare knife and dropped that in too. It was night, and she could trade with a few vamps. Some would trade things just for a taste of her blood. She wasn't sure why and answers varried.

"Since you obviously don't want me about I'm going to get some things we'll need. Keep your gun handy, you shouldn't be bothered, but better safe... I'll be back about dawn. "

She ignored what Gary said, pulling her clothes of quickly and stashing them in the bag.

"You might wanna leave the room now, this bothered ya before..." Her body shifted and she jumped into the night air.

**********

Rose hissed in pain as she took another blow to the ribs. The punk-vamp attacking was pissed she'd saved the girl he was about to snack on, among other things...

His knife flashed and she jerked away, growling as she felt blood flowing down her cheek. Broken ribs, cut cheek, hurt arm...It was more damage then she'd had in a while, she was too weak to keep up the fight but what choice was there? He finally opened himself up, and a pile of dust later she leaned against the wall catching her breath.

Blood. Her body begged for it and she slid down the wall with a slight whimper.

"Nice fight..." a voice to her left brought her to her feet, knife ready. A vamp with long blonde hair and icy eyes lit a ciggertte and smirked.

"Don't worry, kid, just looking...Need something?" he asked holding a wrist to her. It was quite an offer. The guy was apparently a powerful vamp. His offer meant he liked what he saw, was offering her a "position". She shook her head, looking wary. Suddenly he wasn't there and a hand plucked the knife away easily. He held her against him, slowly leaning in to lick away the blood on her face. When he'd cleaned away every drop he leaned in to whisper in her ear.

"You're the half breed, hmmm? Nice...You really should consider my offer, the humans hate you too...Mine don't kill like the others. We leave them alive, we need humans to breed after all. Consider my offer at least," And he was gone. With a sigh she changed and flew home for sleep and to bandage up.

Why was he so hungry?
Why?
Gary looked down at his wrist. It looked like a piece of prime rib, covered in barbeque sauce. He could smell the muchrooms simmering in the juices.
Gary's hands began to shake. He closed his eyes.
"No... go away, all of it, go away..."
He looked at the soup. He slurped the rest of it up, hoping it qoulc quench his thirst, but it didn't. It seemed to enrage it more. Gary tried to run to the kitchen, but couldn't, his legs were too weak.
He dropped to the floor, his hand hitting the sharp edge of the table. Bright red blood filled his vision. He ws at it, without even thinking. He sucked the cut of his wrist dry. It felt so good, so warm, so refreshing.
He heard a flapping of wings, and wiped his mouth. he cut, already gone from his wrist, didn't show any blood either. Gary walked into the bathroom, and started running the water.
He heard a groan. There was something human in that voice, too human. Gary looked at himself in the mirror, he looked perfect, not a hair out of place.
He opened the door, aainst his better judgement.
"Oh holy shit!"

Rose

For a moment Rose simply sat there. Her body felt like every fiber hurt. The groan escaped her before she could stop it. The hunger clawed at her stomach. She heard Gary and wished for a moment to be held. She pushed the thought away and snagged an exceptionally long shirt from a chair, pulling it on with a hiss. It covered her vital parts.

She walked to the kitchen and began soup. It wasn't what she wanted but...Her body need it to heal. She poured the soup and gulped down three glasses of water before eating, Her thirst still raged, but water wouldn't quite it.

She ate silently and quickly, feeling Gary's eyes on her. She wanted to get bandaged quickly and catch some sleep. Rinsing her dishes she stood weakly and moved to the med supplies they brought.

His first impression was to go help her, to do soemthing. She was hurt, bleeding, and badly owunded.
Gary wanted to just make it all go away, but then again something made him stop. A sick, monstrosity feeling.
"Fuckit."
He grabbed her up, hugging her. She smelled like fresh blood. Gary licked his lips, he was so hungry. He started kissing her neck, taking the blood into his mouth.
"Gary... don't. I need."
He couldn't stop though. Gary bit down, softly, taking the explosion of blood into his mouth. She groaned deeply, bitin her lip.
Then, Gary felt the teeth in his own neck. She bit hard into his neck. HE felt like a waterfall had been created. She started taking blood from him in mouthfuls. Gary idn't mind, he was feeding.
After a minute they both stopped. Her wounds weren't so sevre, and Gary's hunger was gone. He lowered his head.
"I.... I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that. You told me to stop, and I didn't."
She came over to him, Gary stepped back, but she grabbed him and hugged him.
"It's ok, Gary. It's all ok. We can handle this, together."
He didn't know if that were true, or maybe it was, and he just didn't want to believe it. Gary shivered, either answer brought a chill to his spine.
He did hug back though, she still smelled so beautiful.

Rose

Rose layed silently against Gary's chest as her body healed. She felt sated and needed. It was nice.

"Gary..." she began softly.

"I...I'm sorry I haven't explained...much. But you didn't seem to like the sight of me and I thought..." She sighed pulling back slightly.

"I need some sleep...I..We'll talk tomorrow?"

"Yes," he said, dazed. Gary didn't know what had happened really. She was just standing there, and then they were lying next to each other.
She left, going into the bedroom. Gary tasted blood thickly in his mouth. He ran to the bathroom, puking. It wasn't the taste, it was the fact that it was in his mouth.
And damnit it all, he liked that taste in his mouth. That was the worst thing, he actually liked it.
Gary wiped his mouth, cleaning himself the best he could. She had lied to him, they didn't get easier, they got harder. Maybe that was simply a truth he had to find out for himself.
Gary walked back to the couch, sitting himself down. He closed his eyes. He did feel safe, and locked up in this fortress he actually liked having her around.
Gary still couldn't get that picture of that bat out of his mind. Why did it disturb him so?
Because it was a bat. She showed the monster within.
Gary spoke aloud, "Did she? Or did she just do something to save your ass."
Gary didn't think he could answer that. Sometimes the answers are more frightening than the questions.
Gary drifted off to sleep.

Rose

Rose layed on the bed and fell asleep almost as fast. Her body was exhausted. She finally woke, hours later. She reach for Gary's scent and heart beat, releaved to find them. She still expected him to leave anytime. After last night though...

With a sigh, she stood and a shower for the first time in weeks. Wrapped in a robe she found in a closet and a towel around her head she walked out.

Gary was up and walking around. He seemed to be ignoring her for the moment. She sat down and watched him a moment before speaking.

"The bat thing, that bothered you so much, is just a vampire ability. It's something vamps pick up after a decade or so. I've been what I am since birth, so I can do it. I can also change into a wolf. It's saidx the older masters can actually control wind..."

(Ok...Tiggs has informed me she is no longer posting here, so im open to suggestions on how i deal with rolandos situation..)

OOC:

Roland, I will be back, actually. I've been composing my return as we speak. Hang in there. It'll arrive within this upcoming week.

Ooc: I don't give suggestions, only criticism... lol, seriously, your safe in Tigg's hands. Believe me.

Gary nodded. It was a vampire ability, he didn't see any humans turning into bats, although it has been a while since he even talked with a human.
"That Roland guy, thats about it."
He nodded. Other than that nobody for at least two months. HE had found friends, but once they saw he was targeted, or chosen by a vampire, they left as fast as they could.
Gary sighed, the mark was still on him. She had placed the blood mark on his forehead, forever to be displaye that he was her walking blood bank.
A shiver ran up his spine.
"You want some breakfast?"
Gary nodded, walking over to the couch. He picked up a yellowing newspaper, and read the head article.
"Vampires become Rampant, Martial Law goes into affect along the East coast."
Gary sighed, that was the worst of it, when humans started turning on humans. The vampires simply sat back, and watched the destruction. It made Gary sick to his stomach.
"Here."
Rose handed him a heaping plate of eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns. Gary took it, looking at her. There was something odd about her.
... need to talk.
"What?"
She looked at him, "what?"
"Didn't you just say something."
Rose shook her head, "No, why?"
Gary closed his eyes, he swore that was her voice, but it wasn't her. He let it drift from his head.
"All right," he said, taking a bite of eggs, "what is the plan now?"
She sat down next to him.

Rose

Rose took a bite of her own food, letting herself enjoy it. It had been a while since she'd had this kind of "normal" meal. She was glad she'd tradded for this stuff last night. The farm had taken hours to get to but...She looked at Gary with a bit of worry. He was eating, that was good. The fact he'd worked out his blood lust last night was good too. Her own experiance...She shruddered. It had been an accident, she'd warned the boy, an over grown bully, to leave her be.

She forced down another mouthful of food, trying to clear her mind again. At the moment, what mattered was Gary. Getting him through the next month...

"The plan...We hole up here, I'll make trips out for food at night. If...if it doesn't bother you, I'll take you with me during the day to trade. We need more food, some gas or a battery for the generator and soap wouldn't hurt..." She hesitated on the next part.

"Gary...When you do go out with...normal people again..." she stopped hesitantly.

"It'll be hard at first. I'm not just saying that, you have vamp senses. It's got perks but a lot of bads too. I don't even wanna think of taking you out at night till you can begin...to adjust..."

"Thats ok," he interrupted her, "I don't want to leave, not anytime soon anyway."
It wasn't what she said about the humans, it was the bat. He couldn't look at that bat more than he anted too. He would have to look at it one more time though, to go down.
He shuttered, and ate a piece of bacon.
"Well, all right. We are going to be stuck up here a while," he looked around, "Not bad... the cleaning lady shouldn't get tipped though. Look at all this dust."
He chuckled softly, "Does the hot water work?"
She nodded, "A good shower would do you good."
Gary finished his breakfast and grabbed a towel.
"Thanks," he muttered, stepping inside.

Rose

Rose finished her food and started clearing things and doing dishes. It was nice to have Gary around. However short that time would be....

She sighed finishing things up she dried her hands and grabbed a book from her pack, missing the shelves of them in her library. With a sigh she settled into a chair with a blanket to read.

OOC: Sorry for the delay...

IC:
Roland reached up, stretching slightly, and cupped Casandra's breasts in his hands. He gently kneaded them. His thumbs rolled over Casandra's nipples, and she sighed and moaned softly in delight. "Oh yes Gary..." she said. "Make love to me!"

That was all the encouragement Roland needed. He reached between their bodies, grabbing for his cock, and guided it towards the opening to her pussy. Casandra wasted no time impailing her body down on it. Having had been a virgin, Roland cried out when he felt her pussy close around his cock.

Casandra began rocking her hips, grinding her pussy down on Roland. "Ohhh Gary," she cried out. "I've waited for this day for years now, love!"

ooc: HURRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ic: *He Gasped out* Calandra! *not exactly knowing where the words came from* God I Love you! *he ment it soooooo much as he grinded in rythem with her, his eyes half lidded, Knowing his doom would come from this, but not really caring...knowing that deep inside she knew it wasent him, yet she kept going at it, Oh how it would end when she finally realized it, But he figured, if he was going to go out, hell this would be the way..He Turned her around, looking lustily into her eye, he drew back and forth at a great speed as they grinded and fucked each other, His eyes squinted shut with the sheer ecstacy of the moment...*

Casandra knew Roland was already to the point of climaxing. Poor virgin boy, she thought. She wasn't sure why, but she always had a soft spot for virgins in her heart, or whatever filled the heart's pleace within a vampyre's soul.

She began griding her pussy down on Roland's pelvis faster now, arching her back as she went. A thin bead of sweat rolled between her breasts and down to her belly button where it formed a small puddle.

Roland's breathing quickened as his voice turned to animalistic grunts of ecstasy. Feeling his seed start to spill deep within her belly, Casandra lunged forward, her canines sinking expertly into the soft flesh of Roland's neck. He cried out, but felt no pain. Finally he had what he secretly longed for... Soon he would turn.

Casandra feasted greedily, almost forgetting that if she didn't stop soon she would kill the poor guy. After a few more drinks of the bittersweet fluid, she lifted her face from him. Her teeth and lips were stained a deep crimson red. Though he didn't know why, Roland was oddly aroused by her look. She smiled down at him as she cut her flesh, right above her right nipple, with her long pinky nail. She leaned down and Roland gladly took her breast into his mouth.

Kindly, Casandra rubbed some of her blood, from a new wound she opened upon herself, into the wound on Roland's flesh. He continued to feed upon her a little while longer...

*It seemed to come crashing down upon him...as the life...the true life...slowly left his body....The memorys of the first attacks...of the people dying in the streets..The sight of those he once called friend Butchered or turned to the race...The race he had hunted for 7 long years...the race he had now become...The Vampire...He brought his head flinging backwards, the crimson liquid the sweetest thing on earth to him now, His teeth were coated with the substance as he ruefully Licked his lips, He licked the wound as it closed by the Vampires magik, He looked at her, He recognized one thing in her eyes, those damn drugs wouldnt last much longer, he had precious little time remaining, He needed to make his move, and he needed to make it now, a swift movement, he found the Same Syringe used earlyer on her, it was empty now, but it would take less than a moment, as he felt the truthfull life fully leave him, and his Vampyric self take over, he drew a thick Concintration of his blood..the black...Powerful substance, Rolando Had a Final Solution to all of this...he secured the vial of his liquid under the bed, to return for it later..He gave her a lustful kiss as their body's remained entwined, he wanted to enjoy this moment before she came to that final, horrid realization of who he was..But He had gained such tremendous strength, he could feel it, Age was not everything, Youth could be powerful too, He knew where the ONLY potential weapons were in this room, He knew That if it came to that, He would do what it took to survive..Truely he thought...I have seen my last sunrise...*

Casandra returned the kiss to Roland with equil passion, their blood stained tongues intertwining. By now, both of their wounds had healed. Grabbing him by the shoulders, Casandra flipped themselves on the bed. Roland was on top now, an erection slightly growing once more.

She looked at him with hungry eyes. "I love you Gary," she stated to Roland. It nearly broke his heart to hear another man's name said. Why had his feelings for Casandra grown? he asked himself. The lust one one thing...but, he felt...could it have been love? Were vampyres capable of love? So many questions filled Roland's mind. They spoke to him, within his head, with a voice all their own.

Something stirred deep within Casandra. For a minute her vision was blurred...almost gone. When Roland brough his face back up from another kiss, though, she saw him. She really saw him...

"Wha...who are you?" Casandra stammered. A look of confusion swept over her face. "What have you done with my Gary!?" she demanded.

*It took less than half a second for roland to act, using his hands as a spring, he fired himself off the bed, landing deftly on Two feet, Albeit in a kneeled position* The Names Rolando, Rolando De Gilliad, And Im afraid I am your Gary, Sire..*he spoke, the term coming to him from nowhere, his hand rested on the pencil, his eyes narrowed to slits and his senses honed considerably, He watched her, but his love...his love beyond all of that of wich gary had once shown her, A True respect for what she was, who she was, and how she was, Somthing.....Somthing no person, and he himself knew, had ever given her...the staying in the kneeling position showed his faith, god what a move he had to make here, going on gut instincts..*
