Socialism is never for the Socialists. Socialism is for the proletariat that needs the Socialist to lift them up by telling them where and how to work and for what sort of remuneration.

Whenever you meet a modern socialist without exception they consider themselves highly "educated," highly competent, and assume that they're going to be busy with party activities raising up the working man. They never assume that they're going to be toiling in a field or a factory themselves because they're obvious talents will be needed by the party for organizing activities. They're great at holding meetings.

There's a very good reason that Marxist professors are not an uncommon occurrence and that socialist everywhere are fond of re-education camps.

For folks that consider themselves all that smart and urbane they all forget the lessons of history. When socialism does come to fruition they are among the first to be shipped off to the Gulag or stood up in front of a firing squad. And those that do have some sense of history uniformly assume it's not going to be them.

Silly socialists.
