A Whole New Perspective on Snakes

And this is how urban myths are made. Not that a boa/python didn't swallow a man. Obviously that is true. I have seen this pic on six different sites, all of them attributing the story to a different place. I have read that this man was swallowed in the Congo, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Papua New Guinea, India and Australia. It isn't Australia. Wrong sort of jungle. Wrong sort of snake. It does look South Americanish. Regardless of location, erk!!! Just erk!!!

Probably South America. It looks like an anaconda. Those bad boys get pretty big.

I know. I know. I shouldn't make fun of something that is a very sad tragedy. Must be awful for his family to have images all over the net. I just can't resist. OK?

I'm being swallowed by a boa constrictor, a boa constrictor, a boa constrictor.
I'm being swallowed by a boa constrictor and I don't like it one bit.
Oh no! He swallowed my toes; Oh gee! He swallowed my knee;
Oh my! He swallowed my thigh; Oh fiddle! He's up to my middle;
Oh heck! He swallowed my neck; Oh dread! He swallowed my head.
GULP!

You've had a deprived childhood Myst. When we sang it at primary school, we would begin standing up and gradually crouch as more and more of our body parts were swallowed. You get the idea. Nice peaceful educational stuff for kids. LOL.

Good point CRaZy! After reading your response, I have submitted the original file I received to CIAC hoax busters and if I get any feedback from them, I'll post the results here.

P. S. - Regarding your poem, a snake ingests its prey head first!
