Abortion clarified

Isn’t it amazing the ones screaming the loudest about abortion are the ones least likely to need one?🤔
That's the thing about abortion. You never know when a woman (your wife, mother, sister, daughter, friends, etc.) might need one.

I know several woman who've had them for various reasons, and I can tell you that it's one of the most life-altering decisions a woman can make. The government (especially crusty old pigs) has no place telling women what to do in those situations.

I live in a state where abortion is safe (for now. The brain-dead Christian nationalists never quit), but 1/3 of the women in this country don't.

Query: Does the government have a place in telling you that you have to go to a doctor to have an appendectomy? Or cancer surgery?

Does the government have a role in saying how those things can take place? Or where? Or under what conditions?

Basically, abortion is no different than any other medical procedure and government can regulate who/what/where/when. You can't separate abortion merely because you believe that "it's my body" when all the other medical procedures also have that same autonomous factor.

In a nutshell, you need a better argument than "I don't like it."

I'm confused...

The government can't tell you NOT to have an appendectomy if you need one, and they don't get to step in an decide whether you need one or not. That's between you and your doc.

It the government's job to make sure procedures, facilities, physicians are safe. They have no input on whether someone receives medical treatment.

Oh really? What about that whole covid vaccine mandates issue, or has it been memory holed already?

Anyhow, there is a significant amount of people who are arguing that killing babies is not medical treatment.

I agree that covid mandates were out of line. The government can't force people to receive medical treatment.

What about treatment for an ectopic pregnancy? Does that qualify as medical treatment?

You can't claim that it's out of line while supporting it at the same time.

Honestly, you're confused and really need to slow down and think about the issues instead of flapping your gums unprepared.

Alright, man. I'll leave you good ole' boys the lip flapping. Have fun in Delulu land with your god king.

To which adrina has strongly proposed a completely workable and easy solution: women don't have sex!

Can't deny the logic of her solution, and I'm rather impressed she's finally conceded women don't lose choice even if abortion is outright banned.
Yes, women need to be responsible. Fantastic solution.

Post #14:

Where in that text do I say "women are only good for sex"?
You just did. You may not have said it loudly, but you said it.

You’d cheat on your wife without her permission if she doesn’t want sex as much as you.

That is in no way saying "women are only good for sex".

Glad you finally conceded the point, and are now desperately backpedaling with "not have said it loudly", as if my text posts have volume control with hidden messages in them.

🤭😄🤣
