Do you like props in the bedroom; if so, what, and how will use them/it?

Perhaps contrary to expectations, I have a very large collection (literally a cupboard full) of props and toys that I have acquired or constructed over the years. I enjoy very much bringing them into play; my wife is unfortunately less keen. Many of them have been tried only once.

As I indicated in a Personals posting a few days ago, I have an uncomfortable relationship with some of my kinks.

Please list a few others you have created. I doubt I'm the only one who is curious about what you might include in your dungeon.

As well as the Wand stool, I have constructed:

• An ankle spreader bar made specifically with restraints that are soft and comfortable, but unyielding (used a couple of times)
• An elastic harness to hold a Magic Wand in place regardless of any wriggling (tried once)
• A wrist spreader bar for stand-up teasing that slots into covert mounting points above the door frame (tried once)
• A camera mount to fit a video camera over the bed (works fine but not used for any live action)

The problem for me is that most of my energy, excitement and anticipation goes into the creative part, but I then suffer a crisis of confidence if I don't sense a great deal of enthusiasm from my wife to try things out -- at which point they disappear into the cupboard and usually never emerge again.

We also have a large collection of sex toys: everything from clitoral vibrators through wands and dildos to a fucking machine (inflatable bed plus thrusting dildo assembly). The latter -- you've guessed it -- we tried it once and it did the job for my wife, but neither of us has mentioned it again since then.

I dream of having a dungeon that I could populate with my own designs and other items that fit my whims. As I said earlier, though, I'd feel more comfortable about lending it out to other people rather than trying to make use of it myself.

Props in the bedroom?

Well kind of. We've amassed and discarded a load of 'accessories' over the years. I guess those that get used most in the bedroom would be the 'normal' vibes/dildos/wand, clamps plus bondage tape.

However, i'm lucky enough to have a Den which for special fun transforms into a Dungeon, well our style of dungeon!

I hacked a High backed chair but making a new seat pad that has a cut out in the obvious place for ease of access.
Hacked and rebuilt a bench to make a sex bench/spanking bench which has hooks underneath for either using rope or chain to restrain...
Made a simple frame to restrain standing up...

and in that room far more toys & implements do get used;
microphone stands to hold the wand, eroscillator, or vibes in place
fucking machine ( thrusting type )
timer for the above if feeling mean for some teasing....

and then an assortment of other bits n pieces; spreader bar, crop, floggers, clamp/pump for nips and clit, faux fur / brushes for sensation play...

most of the play isn't hardcore SM, more sensation & mind based.

I try and vary the use of the props around to keep things fresh, i guess the wand/eroscillator get used the most...
