Looking for a male or female co-writer to play the part of a hero or heroine. Sci-fi/comic styled storyline, open-ended for my partner to develop his/her character (and collaborate on the world and possible adventures, if they so desire).
Thank you!

Being a villain wasn't easy.
Many people joined the cause of mad scientists and 'world reformers' all on their own; whether it be because they had a grudge against humanity or craved a life of adventure and glory or desired riches and little fangirls in tight spandex suits... Ruin couldn't claim to know anyone's motives, really. But she had to wonder: if she had been born in any other circumstance, what would it have taken to draw her over line? She wasn't evil, not really. She was just playing the role she --
"Are you even listening?"
Ruin wondered how long she had been giving her father a blank stare. She considered lying to him but knew he'd only quiz her in response...and so honesty became the order of the minute. "No, I'm sorry. I was trying to imagine a normal life."
He threw his hands up in exasperation. "Ruin, we've --"
"I mean. I'd probably have a real name. Like...Sarah. Or Natalie. Or..."
He gave her a stern look.
"Or, you know. Anything not Ruin."
"Ruin is a beautiful name, sweetheart. You should be honored."
She gave a depressed sigh.
"You mother picked that name for herself, you know," he reminded her for the twenty-thousandth time.
"But what was her name? Her real name?"
"It doesn't matter, we both forsook our birth names."
"It matters to me."
He studied her for a moment. Before he could decide whether or not he wanted to tell her (as he had obviously been avoiding just that very thing for the entire span of his daughters existence, which was approximately 24 years) a pair of henchmen entered the chamber. "My Lord! A breech, gate seven!"
"Dammit," the man growled, slamming a clenched fist on the table. His hand, and in fact the majority of his body, was a mix of human flesh and bioelectronics. One could safely guess that it vastly increased his strength, as the breakfast plates and beverages upon the table jumped in response. In the time it took for the dishware rattle to a stop the man had climbed to his feet and rushed towards the doorway, pushing one of his own men angrily out of his way. "Incompetent imbeciles, all of you!" He crossed the threshold and paused to look back at his daughter. "Well?"
She begrudgingly climbed to her feet. Taking on a proud posture, she followed.

"Chaos! We will not stand for this!"
"Oh? And what will you do, little one?" Chaos and Ruin stood upon a tower balcony, in the central spike of Obsidian Hold. The interior disconnect of the complex allowed the heroes and heroines to find themselves in a courtyard of sorts, still outside of the structure they had infiltrated.
"I will fucking murder you, you wretch! Let her go!"
Ruin's brows came together, though a mask concealed the better part of the expression.
"No! She's MINE!" countered Chaos.
Now she had to look at the man. "Who...?"
"She doesn't belong to anyone! She doesn't love you, old man, get the fuck over it! We will not allow you to hold her hostage!"
"And what if she's already dead?" the question was accompanied by a twisted smile.
The hero howled with rage. As if on cue henchmen swarmed into the courtyard and began attacking the gathering of heroes and heroines, with limited success.
"Who are we talking about?" Ruin demanded.
Chaos had crossed arms over his chest, eyes cast at the battle below. "You know, our henchmen are literally worthless. Look at them, just dying down there."
She grabbed the front of his lab coat, forced him to face her, the jolt causing his arms to drop. "What the fuck is going on?!"
His often distant eyes seemed suddenly clear. "They can't take her! I won't let them! Her powers are too valuable! I-I've found a way to siphon her essence, her soul if you will..."
Ruin was dumbstruck.
"...I can put it in the machines! In our components, Ruin! We will be unstoppable! And they..." He looked over his shoulder with a victorious sneer. "They're too late to save her."
She couldn't breathe. From below, she was fairly certain she heard the screams of William, a guard who was a generally decent guy (aside from his cultish devotion to Chaos)...and what was William dying for? How many people had Ruin assassinated, at the word of her totally-sane-world-dominion-bent father?
It was a surprisingly easy decision. And even as he saw it coming he did nothing to stop it.
Ruin placed her hand flat on his chest, over his heart. The release of energy came with a dull but shockingly loud 'CRACK!'
The existence of the courtyard and the sheer faces of obsidian that surrounded amplified and echoed the sound. Fighting ceased immediately, all live eyes turning upwards. That is, until their vision had something to follow down. Chaos plunged headfirst onto solid stone. What had been the equivalence of a six story fall assured that he was dead - that, and the cylindrical hole burned through his chest.
Ruin looked over the railing of the balcony as if uncertain that her father would die so easily.

Six months later...
Being a heroine wasn't any easier.
Sure, Ruin had been invited to join a team of do-gooders, under the banner of The Order. That was something. But now she was just a traitor, totally untrustworthy. She had murdered her own father. So despite the valuable asset that she was, knowing what she did of the various crime syndicates and her father's inventions, she wasn't really part of the team.
Any team. This was her fourth reassignment. She had done well on all the missions she was a part of but...well. Living and depending on someone that had killed a close friend or relative at some point was too tall of an order for some.
It's not as if Ruin could really blame them.
The crimson haired woman stepped up to the door of her new team house and rang the bell. She looked quite a bit different without her former costume, which had been primarily stitched leather and buckles, though the lack of it didn't stop anyone from recognizing her. The titanium encased and glowing red right eye ensured that she would be forever marked as a product of Chaos. Her only other visible devices were on her palms; which, as illustrated, were fairly powerful weapons. To look at her upturned hands was to see smoothly polished stone infused into skin, varying in color seemingly at will, identically shaped as lenses. The devices took up roughly half of each palm.
The door swung open.
It wasn't as if she was expecting to see a friend, but... Apparently it was too much to ask that she be housed with someone to whom she hadn't done great harms.
"Hello," she managed with a false calm.
Thank you!
