My daughter got home yesterday, I found out who the little girl and her brother were.

I called the school this morning and spoke to the person that handles such matters that mentioned in a previous post. That person told me they would begin an investigation into things while protecting my anonymity.

While I was talking to her, she checked to see if the girl was in school today, and she was there.

Dealing with issues like this is always tricky. As I said before, there's no right way or wrong way to do it. You helped out, covered your own ass, and checked up on the situation.
