I am curious about how many think that they will now feel forced to take Trump out the old fashioned way like they did with Lincoln and Kennedy?

I think it is inevitable that they will try. The things exposed so far are just the tip of the iceberg. If Trump keeps exposing them in time their legal problems would become critical.

But what do you think? How dark do you think the deep state is? How evil? Any limits to what they will do to save themselves and hold on to power?

I think Democrats have considered assassination, after all their base is constantly signalling the need for it. I wouldn't put anything past the Deep State in defense of their interest. We just had a couple Foggy Bottom flunkies come up to Capitol Hill to help impeach the duly elected President for not including them in a phone call.

Any alt left looney toon that attempts such a horrific act does so on its own and does not represent democrats in general. I truly believe there are nutbags who are hellbent on taking out any pres. I said "Democrats," not "all Democrats," want Trump dead and gone. I think Democrats in the media and in the party leadership have purposely raised and sustained the level of vitriol against Trump for three solid years hoping one of their loons would be motivated enough to make it happen. This is not the Democrat Party your grand parents knew. These people rival the Communist Party in their radicalism. Remember, every attempt against an American President's life in modern times has been perpetrated by a radical leftist.

You are correct in saying that not all democrats can be lumped into one basket. I don't think the post you were addressing meant to say that either. In my OP I deliberately used the term "deep state" rather than democrats. MOST democrats would not be that evil. The examples I sighted were one democrat (Kennedy ) and one Republican (Lincoln) The deep state is not left of right. They are for themselves. There are MANY that claim to be republicans that are really deep state swamp monsters. The whole Bush clan fits in that category including Low Energy Jeb. So it is not just evil people like the Clintons and Obamas. It is a social cancer that infects people that thirst for power, money and control over other people.

What is going on in this country is not just a debate about what political ideals work out best for people. There is a moral battle taking place. The deep state just uses "causes" and parties as a means to their ends.

impeachment, in this case, is nothing more than trying to sway opinion and votes. Trump is not going anywhere anytime soon. He is too smart to endanger his office and family. That's why he got the job in the first place.

And some have been put in cages built by the Obama administration. But don't worry. The wall will slow that way down and indirectly Mexico will pay for it.
