I'd like to see one related to each story ... but that doesn't mean others couldn't also be included. We've already enough material suggested to fill at least 3 volumes. The mixing is going to get tricky.

You're more than welcome to toss any story into the mix ... but I think it very unlikely that these 3 stories would come to rest in the same volume. Personally, I wouldn't want more than two stories that mention "Earth Day" or "Valentine's Day" or "Christmas" or any other theme appearing in the same volume. It would make it too much like a theme project.

Now, if you want to collect a "Best of Earth Day" anthology -- You are welcome to pull it all together, get your artwork, etc. & I'll be happy to convert your manuscript to PDF and upload it to the CafePress "EroticAnthology" account for publication. Same goes for any contest or theme collection someone wants to tackle. The sky's the limit. You can do an anthology just containing your own work if you want. (I'm doing one for a friend -- just one copy, dedicated.) I'll be happy to help with what I've learned during this process.

The "Coming Together" anthology, though, will be a variety of stories in a variety of settings across a variety of kinks without any common thread other than sex.

I suggested privately to Imp earlier and I resubmit here that I think my story Wet Panties? is a good choice out of my own works. It has been well reviewed, has a good ending and a touch of humor to go with the sexiness. At just under 4500 words it is a fairly quick read but I have never received any feedback that felt it was lacking in detail or background.

Wingman might be a more obvious choice but I am thinking of giving in to Sheath's suggestions and submitting that to a few sources and see if I can get paid for it.

I've been awfully busy lately, and I don't think you need any more material now anyhow, but I'd be willing to help out where I can.

A few things though:

--In an earlier post, Imp stated that the chosen book format allows 250 words per page. At this rate, a 3,000 word story is 12 pages, a 10,000 word story is 40 pages, etc. If you've got 20 authors signed up and only 250 pages to work with, you're going to have to restrict submissions to about 3,000 words each. That's going to take some serious finagling, unless you want to do multiple volumes.

--You don't want any pictures of serious sex or nudity on the cover, not if you want the book displayed in stores. Most bookstores won't display it if it has a cover that could be considered offensive.

--You should probably contact Laurel about mentioning "Literotica.com" on the book's cover or elsewhere. I don't think she'd object at all--publicity is publicity--but still, she should be informed that you're using the site name for commercial purposes.

Anyhow, I'm kind of tied up right now, but I'd really like to help out. Let me know if there's anything else I can do.
